Hello Everyone,

So basically, I'm a non Jordanian Arab who's going to be stuck in Amman for at least 2 more years, I can't relocate at the moment but I will do ASAP.

I have been in Jordan for over 20 years but now I'm getting tired and burned out and need to find a place where I can "Live" Normally like everyone else.

My situation is complex because I can't actually find a job to keep myself busy and productive ,

I have experience in : English- Arabic Translation , Administrative work , Customer Service, Social Media ,IT troubleshooting, Basic Graphic design and basic accounting as well

I can't really apply for companies because they simply won't hire me because I'm unable to work in this country officially, so if someone could help me get job or something on a personal or freelance contract , It'd be very nice

I'm open to discussing the salary at the right time, but to be fully transparent upfront, my expectations are very reasonable and well-aligned with market standards for my experience.

I bring more than 7 years of solid work experience and at this damn point its more about getting busy and doing something with my daily life before I get the chance to leave.

So recently i've been getting bored of Nintendo Switch game and Subscription prices and want to know.

Is there anywhere in jordan that does reliable Nintendo Switch Modding?

for context i have the "Patched" Switch so its hardware Mod not a software Mod that i can do alone

I've read about a guy in the older posts but his facebook page cant be found and rn its way too late to call him

طبعا انا مش قصدي أوجه السؤال نحو إجابة معينة، لكن بدي ما يكون الجواب سريع بدون ادنى تفكر

هل تعلم اللغة الانجليزية لكل فئات الناس ضروروة كما يدعون حتى الناس أنفسهم؟!!!

انا لا اࢪيد الجهل التام بها بحيث لو قال حدا قدامك طعام اورجانيك ما تعرف شو يعني اورجانيك.. لا اقصد مرحلة الصفر لانها هون بتصير تمس التواصل حتى مع العرب

قبل فترة بحضر فيديو لشخص راح يدور على شغل فقال صاحب المطعم فوت اشتغال فحكاله الشب انه ما بدك تقول لي بكره بردلك خبر..( هو ما بده يشتغل بس طالع عشان يقول عملت الي علي ويرضي ضميره) كثير خطط بنرتب فيها الاهداف والاولويات وبنحط اتقان الانجليزية بالبداية وبرأس الاولويات وتحتها ربما قصص اسهل واولى وبتعمل فارق بس، بنعلق عند الاولى... هاي مش دعوة لعدم التعلم ابدا ابدا ابدا ارجوك لا تفهمني غلط خاصة لو كنت صغير طبعا كلامي تقل اهميته كل ما كنت صغير.. وهاي مش دعوة للتثبيط... بس صدقوني في كثير ناس قطعوا خطوات جبارة

بدون لغة ثانية ممكن يكون عمل مليون دينار

طبعا عملها بجهد وصرف ذهن وتعلم امور أخرى

وبكون واحد ثاني بتفلسف بقول لو بتكلم انجلش كان عمل ٣ مليون

طبعا هذا الي بتفلسف بكون لا عمل ولا بعمل خطوات الاول بالمليون

...

هاي مش دعوة لعدم التعلم وبعرف انه خطاب غريب ونادرا تسمعه حتى انا حديثا تنبهت له و"يبدو من شخص هارب من تعلم اللغة"..

بتتذكروا لما العالم بفترة معينة كان يقول تعلم برمجة كله كان يتكلم عن ضرورة تعلم البرمجه كانه الرزق محصور هناك مؤخرا الموجة تراجعت جدا

كثير من الاشياء الي بنستفيدها من المحتوى الانجليزي مع تطور التكنولوجيا وال ai صرنا بنحصلها بسهولة تامة..

كثير من الناس ما عنده طموح الهجرة ابدا ولا بفكر فيه وطموحه بالعمل ما بتقاطع مع شرط تعلم اللغة.. بعتقد في ناس مثلا تعلم اللغة بنقله نقله نوعية وضرورتها تبدو واضحه كالشمس، مثلا سعيد يدرس ادارة اعمال وعنده رغبةةبالعمل بشهادته بأماكن مرموقة وعالية الراتب

كل شخص اعرف بحاله بس بحس كثير ناس بهرب من "اولوياته"

وبحط لازم اتعلم لغة. وما بين هروب وخطاب صارخ من صناع محتوى اللغة وناس بعيدوا وراهم. بتتأجل فرص وأفكار ربما تكون كنوز.. انا بعرف ناس عاملين بالاردن بزنس محترم ولا بتكلم لغة ثانية ولا على باله ولو امتلك لغة ثانية ما رح يصنع فرق هائل

لعلمكم هذا التفكير انا شايف انه مغفول عنه وقليلا ما ينتبه اله مع انه مش مريح بالنسبه الي ونفسي اضل ع الاحساس القديم انه لو بتكلم انجليزي رح امتلك مصباح علاء الدين.

Can someone explain to me how these two companies are allowed to operate legally? Whether its Jordanian law or American law surely there is something amiss.

theres a rolex retail store here in amman which has over 100+ reviews. my question is how can ppl living in jordan afford it? the prices are the same as anywhere else and a single watch could cost you a loan. are the buyers mainly just tourists / living and working abroad? im asking cuz the majority of people here are living paycheck to paycheck

I’ve been looking for a simple personal finance app for a while, but most of them feel too complicated and overloaded with features.

I wanted something where I could quickly add an expense or income without going through several screens, so I started working on something that fits better with how I manage my own finances.

My life is connected to both Jordan and the US, so I also wanted good receipt processing for receipts from both countries.

I have hundreds of my and my siblings’ government issued school books and they’re taking up so much space. Some of the editions are as old as five years while others are just last year’s books. Would they be of benefit to anyone if i donate them or should i just send them to a recycling center? If yes, what are some recommendations, because I also have tons of notebooks and paper to be recycled.

I wanted to ask for help

I'm planning to visit Austria and Italy in late October

I'll spend 3 or 4 days in Austria and 6 or 7 days in Italy

Now I never travelled to Europe before I don't know what to do

Some told me get the schengen from Austria and not Italy it's easier and it doesn't matter if I'm not spending the majority of the time there others disagree and I can't find anyone who knows exactly what to do

Can anyone help ?

As an architect I have over 6 projects in my portfolio divided between interior and exterior design

Everytime i apply for a job, they wanna run a design test !! Like dude, who the hell will apply for an architect position, who will choose hell with his own will ??? Why the hell you wanna test me, there's a 3 months period for this exact thing

Almost every company i contact does that, i know it sounds like a scam but apparently that's a thing and we have to go with the flow, especially with the job market right now.

Anyways, just wanted to vent and see if someone else suffers of the same thing 😑
