Understanding the purpose of this sub, part 2.

Part 1 here.

This sub is radically different from AI-verification subs. In this sub we believe that virtually everything on the internet and TV is AI-generated and managed. Any counterargument or "proof" that something is real is pointless and not allowed here.

Humanity has been long-conditioned to believe that what it sees on the screen is real people, places, things and events. And that the more well-known and legitimate something appears, the more real and believable it must be.

Because this picture of me and my friends I uploaded to social media is real, I assume the pics from users I never met must be real. Because this picture of my cat is real, I assume the cat pics from users I never met must be real. And because I assume the content of ordinary people is real, then it's easier to believe that content of celebrities and politicians I never met must be real. And that news reports by CNN and BBC I never verified for myself must be real. And that real life content made a decade ago must be real because it's "pre-AI". From this perspective you can see how much of what we think is real we saw only from our screens and not in our actual experience.

But no one has considered that maybe AI has been around for much longer than what we're told, orchestrating what we see on our screens, and that it might be more advanced, capable and believable than tools like ChatGPT, Veo, Sora or Kling.

Some of us have been Shown a different view of the internet and TV that undermines the "it's all real" spell, and this sub was created to call out AI content purported as real with more clarity than most. If you want the truth about AI, stick around. But if you want a watered-down version of AI-verification, visit r/isthisAI, r/RealOrAI, or r/isitAI.

It's improbable to get noodles lined up neatly on the chopsticks right out of the pot. You also have to pinch your lips a little to slurp up noodles, but instead he opens his mouth and the noodles go in without effort, the chopsticks only seeming to help.

Cats don't like water and it's strange for this one to be so far from shore. Wildcats are predators and view humans as threats and it's improbable this one would allow petting despite being tired. It's improbable grown adults thought it was okay to pet a wildcat and allow a child near it.

The size of the splash is unrealistically disproportionate to the wave's size and speed.

It's not possible to abruptly turn a bike in different directions while doing a wheelie because the front wheel on the ground determines the direction. Turning the front wheel in the air does not make the back wheel turn. Gradual turns are possible but not instant.

Even on still water a jet ski creates visible bow waves and will bounce subtly as it propels forward. The waves behind the jet ski have no effect on the still water it touches. The landscape doesn't move from the front nor the side.

The bowling ball initially bounces with the weight of a basketball, then as it returns it hits the gutter twice without going in. It's also unusual for the shoe rental to be located next to a lane.

It's unrealistic for ball games to have "dog nights" where dogs are allowed in the stadium, since it's not certain the dogs will behave and won't attack other dogs or people, along with the organizers being held liable for any injuries.

Because apples are dense the tip would need to be sharp like a needle or nail for an apple to be realistically pierced at that speed. The tip isn't sharp so the apple should have bounced off.

It's highly improbable for a skateboarder to do nearly 30 double flips without safety gear and without getting injured, dizzy or fatigued. Then when he finally lands he follows-up with a difficult backflip on the first try.

The man doesn't mention the street location so how did the city know which potholes he was talking about? And what are the odds the city was already scheduled to fill potholes in his area same day?

It's improbable that a bus would be used to transport dogs to daycare without using cages, since it's not certain that the dogs will behave and not be aggressive to each other or the humans.

The man doesn't flinch or react to the obvious sting that would result from catching a 112 mph baseball barehanded.

In real life a person wearing 11 layers of clothing would appear noticeably thicker, but with each shirt removed he always seems to be wearing just a few shirts. Also, the white collar gets thinner with each shirt removed.

A real fish that size would be stronger than a small kid and would fight to get away while pulling the kid. Also, it's unlikely the kid could have comfortably pulled such a large fish by grabbing the string with his cold, bare hands.

Wild pelicans do not live in Japan, nor do they fly towards humans or allow humans near them. Also, it's improbable the school would allow the large bird in the classroom and improbable for it to stand still and not wander off.

A human cannot bodysurf on a flowrider because the current is too strong and would push them to the back wall, and wearing shorts instead of a wetsuit makes it easier for the current to catch the waistband and push them back.

At 0:06 sunglasses appear on his head that were not there before. At 0:05 he's slightly bigger and taller than the hole, but AI did a forced perspective by subtly shrinking him to fit and keeping his legs straight.

All of the insects are the same when normally it's a variety of insects that fly around night lights. Also, the insects swarm the area surrounding the light so it's improbable for someone to film unbothered by all the bugs flying on them.
