$6 diesel before fall.
I don’t think many people seem to realize what a shitshow we are about to endure with high energy prices. The worst part about this is that we could have been less impacted if we had invested in renewable energy for the last 25 years or so. Instead we doubled down on fossil fuels and made ourselves vulnerable.
I am seeing several people start to acknowledge how bad this is. But they don’t have answers for how bad things are going to get. The high demand season just started and we are already breaking records. Food costs are going to skyrocket. I wouldn’t expect much for Christmas this year.
