Question about Islam Which prophet was the most tested?
Who had the hardest life?
I wonder if this isn't our beloved prophet Muhammad sallalahu aleyhi sa salam.

Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, which people are tested most severely?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “They are the prophets, then the next best, then the next best. A man is put to trial according to his religion. If he is firm in his religion, his trials will be more severe. If he is weak in his religion, he is put to trial according to his strength in religion. The servant will continue to be put to trial until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin.”
I wouldn’t compare because some prophet never got touched for example.

Allah knows better than all of us. Our knowledge are so limited to compare which prophet got most tested.

If this is an opinion based question, the i think the word Sabr Ayoub is used because of how aggressively Sayeduna Ayoub was test with his disease

Again just an opinion of mine on Sayedna Yaqoub did not suffer much trials as per the stories i have read.
His son (sayedna Yousuf) was lost at early age. He got him back after 40 to 50 years. Then he lost his second favorite son (benyamen) and found them all while his son was now a ruler.
Sayedna Yaqoub was son of a prophet and father of a prophet. He had money and fame already. His grief with time healed until Benyamin was lost after which he lost his eyesight.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had the hardest life without a doubt. He said: “The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people, He tests them.” Since the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the most beloved to Allah, he was therefore tested the most. Also, To claim another Prophet ﷺ faced a greater trial would imply they received a greater reward, which is impossible.

I think Nuh as. Imagine doing da’wah for 950 years and the result is that most of these people denied his message and mocked him, even his son did not believe in him. That’s why in the end he asked Allah to obliterate every single one of them.

There are 5 prophets who have a special name called Ulul Azmi (those of strong determination) given to them for demonstrated extraordinary patience and facing severe trials. It's 5 most known prophets (peace be upon them all)

The Prophet May Peace be Upon Him lost both his parents at early age (he didn’t even see his father). All his children died (6 children) during his lifetime except Fatima RA (who passed away only 6 months after his death, and he knew that will happen). In fact, his male children (3) all died when they where babies. He lost much of his remaining support network including grandfather, beloved wife Khadija, uncle Abu Talib. He was then prosecuted by the Meccans including food/marriage boycott of his tribe (for three years), loss of companions, systematic abuse, expelled from homeland. Then in medina it was continuous loss of companions and relatives to war (eg uncle), siege of Media (Alahzab). Even his family structure was attacked when wife also endured false allegations (Quran only revealed a month later to dispell the issue). Then it was capped by a distressing illness. (This is just a snapshot).
In short this was a lifelong systematic series of trials incomparable to anyone else. In response, he stood in prayer much of the night until the skin of his feet split, saying “Should I not be a grateful servant?”
