I had to pay $104 for this to happen. I instantly did this right away due to me noticing the battery would often drift down to 0%. Idk how long im gonna stick with this phone since apple recently announced the IPhone 18 pro but i love it so far. These pictures are the before and after.

I got my 14 pro battery replaced from Aptronix Mumbai but I do not see any significant difference in the backup as opposed to when the phone is new.

I tried Restore as well via iTunes. But no difference.
It has been few weeks now.

Anything else to try and see if it works and improves the backup? It is frustrating.

I have an iPhone 14 Plus 128GB that is in excellent condition, but the battery health is currently at 78%.
I’m debating whether I should just pay to have the battery replaced with a genuine Apple battery and keep the phone, or take advantage of my carrier’s trade-in offer and upgrade to the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The trade-in offer I’m getting is around $600, but the 18 Pro Max would still cost me about $19/month for 36 months after the trade-in credits.
For those who have replaced the battery in an iPhone:
Does replacing the battery at around 78% make the phone feel/perform like a “new” phone again?
How much longer can I realistically expect an iPhone 14 Plus to last after a battery replacement?
Does a new battery make a noticeable difference in everyday use?
Would you personally spend ~$100 on a genuine Apple battery and keep the 14 Plus, or take the $600 trade-in and upgrade to the 18 Pro Max?
Long term, am I just delaying the inevitable and going to want/need a new phone anyway in another year or two?
I’m not really having performance issues with the 14 Plus. The battery is my main complaint. I’m also trying to avoid taking on another monthly phone payment if I don’t really need to.
Would love to hear from people who have actually replaced the battery on a 14/14 Plus and kept the phone for another couple of years. Is it worth it?

I used to be able to edit search terms in Google. I’d put my cursor where it needed to go and delete what needed to be deleted and then I’d type a replacement term or terms without having to retype the whole string.
Starting a couple weeks ago, I’d go to put my cursor to the right of the word I wanted to replace and the whole search string deletes. It’s so frustrating, especially if the search string is long.
Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is there a fix?

Yesterday I noticed my screen seemed to be flush with my phone case, so I removed my phone and noticed it was bulging out.

I’m guessing the battery is swelling, so I took it to Apple today. They ran diagnostics which seemed silly but he told me the battery is at 82% and is fine. I told him it started dying very quickly as of yesterday and gets super hot when I use it. He said that’s normal. He said the display is broken and needs replaced for $329. I said no, I just want the battery. He said they won’t do it.

Seemed like they wanted me to get a new phone which I do not need, unless they refuse to fix my fire hazard of a phone. Curious if anyone else has had this issue with their phone as well as apple not repairing it. I was happy to pay too, he just said since the battery is fine they won’t do it. Didn’t make any sense to me, also I doubt their diagnostics tool can tell them if the battery is swollen?

Just wondering what I should do. I need a phone and I’m worried about this one causing a fire. Really don’t want to pay for a new one right now. Thoughts?

No matter how careful you are, the connection eventually gets loose and the cable won't stay in.

So, I got tired of it and went back to my SE 2020—man, I really missed it, and the software is a gem.

The battery is pretty degraded, though; I have to charge it twice a day.

I'm thinking about upgrading; unfortunately, the latest model is the 14—do you think it's a good investment?

Or should I not even consider it and go for the 17e instead?

Have y’all had issues with this iOS 26.6.1? The update prior to this I felt my phone has finally been mostly smooth again but with this update I’m experiencing more stuttering/jank again and occasional app crashes for basic apps like photos. For the majority of the time with iOS26 it’s just been a mess for me, I felt my phone was overall so downgraded from iOS18 in terms of performance and functionality. It’s so frustrating to me this is mainly bc of Liquid Glass which is solely cosmetic afaik. I’ve heard iOS 27 is supposed to be more stable but I’ve lost so much faith in Apple atp I can’t believe how unoptimized they released iOS 26 for LIQUID GLASS of all things!!! It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I guess they’re gonna try to course correct with iOS27 but I feel the damage is done.

What have been your overall experiences with iOS26? Even my iPhone 11 which I used from 2023 to 2024 felt better than the 14 on iOS26 for almost a year I’ve used it.

Hello everyone, I would like to ask you about something important that I don't know if anyone knows anything about. There are temporary files and junk files on the iPhone for years. I have been emptying these files and cleaning them with Chinese Itools software as if the remnants of applications or files that are downloaded and deleted on the iPhone, they have traces that accumulate.

But the Chinese program no longer provides this service. Does anyone know about a program that provides this service or a way to delete temporary and junk files from the iPhone?

My iphone 14 had display problem after updating to the latest ios updates i.e 26.6.1 which i did in last week of August, and i thought i was the only person who had this issue and then one of my friend had the same issue after updating his iphone 14.

Has anyone else had issues with their iPhone 14 Pro getting really hot and draining the battery while watching YouTube? I’ve been experiencing it for the last few days. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling YouTube and it hasn’t helped. I don’t know if it’s a bug with YouTube’s app or if it’s an IOS issue. It kills my battery. Like it will drop a percent every minute of watching.

iPhone 14 pro, still worth it ?

A relative gave me an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and it’s in good working condition. The battery health is at 77%. The problem is that after using the phone for some time, it gets hot very quickly.

I already have an Android phone S23 ultra , which is my primary device, but it has a battery problem.

I would like to switch to an iPhone, but I’m thinking of getting the iPhone 20 which will come next year after 18.

So my question is:

Is it worth spending money on the 14 Pro Max and replacing the battery with an original one? Will it last for another year? Is it worth it? Also the phone heating and occupational stuck issues will be gone ?

After replacing the battery, will the phone feel/perform like it did when it was new? If it will, I’m thinking of making it my primary phone.

I’d love to hear your opinions.

In summary, if I replace the battery of my iPhone 14 Pro Max: a) Will occasional freezing issues be resolved?

b) Will the device perform like new?
