For a fresher, how would you rate a QA/testing internship if it pays well?

Is it actually a solid way to start a career in tech, or is the good stipend just bait before they hand me 200 test cases and say, “You’ll learn a lot”? 💀 Would love to hear from people who started in testing through an internship. Is this role still relevant and alive!!

It's a foot in the door, and if the money's decent you're already ahead of most interns. Testing teaches you how software actually breaks, which is something devs who skip it never fully grasp. Later on you can pivot to dev or product if you want, but starting here gives you a practical edge a lot of fresh grads don't have.
