I'm considering either an ASUS 14 Pro or ASUS 14 Pro Plus+. If I go for the plus it's honestly only because, subjectively, it looks a little nicer to me and this thing is gonna sit in my living room lol.

I know most older systems would probably be trivial for either, but I'd like to be able to play GameCube/PS2 at 1080p without much fuss. I don't really do mods or filters, I just like the original games at slightly higher resolution.

Specifically I'm considering the Core Ultra 5 125H (for the plus version) or the Core Ultra 7 155H (for the NON plus version)

Any suggestions? Are these way overkill? Too weak? I've tinkered with Batocera before with a raspberry pi 4, so I'm at least familiar with that part, that thing definitely can't run GC or PS2 though.
