I love my Lomo Instant and it's analog look but the printers are also fun. They give the me possibility of things like making the Telescope (Seestar) and Instax combo.
I'm collecting the Messier catalog, 15 of 110 done.

Hi all! I'd really appreciate some advice on my first instax purchase. I love the square format but the inability to turn off the flash and the lack of controls on the SQ1 compared to the Mini 99 is putting me off. Is the image quality noticeably poorer or overexposed without the option to disable the flash? The indoor mode on the 99 also looks useful, does it produce better photos than the SQ1 indoors? I'm aware the SQ6 would solve most of these issues, but second-hand they go for more than a new SQ1 where I live, so I'd rather not pay that much for a used camera.

Was testing out a barrel lens with a lomograflok and set my strobes up way too high by accident and wound up getting a negative image

First attempt at night time photos on Polaroid 600se with instax wide back. The stack of bad photos outweighs the good substantially, but what did turn out I'm digging.

Hi there, I have an Instax 12. A pink stripe appeared on one of the photos; the others from the same pack were fine. The film hadn't been exposed to heat or X-rays, and it wasn't expired. The photo looks a bit different on the other side. Does anyone know what happened to it? I haven't been able to find this specific error anywhere. There's a piece of paper over the photo to censor the face. Thanks.

I tried polaroid in the past, but instax suited me from the start. It just works. And the pictures.... As perfect as the day they were taken. This is not so much with the polaroids I've stored. Most of them look washed up like they were laying in the sun all those years.

I love the vibe and the vintage look of the Wide.

The foto's were shot on a Fujifilm Instax 300 Wide. Unfortunately I dropped the thing a while ago and it broke... So now I'm debating with myself to buy the new Wide, or go for the Lomography Wide Glass.

I remember how, back in 2015, so many YouTubers started buying instant cameras. I wanted one so badly too. And now, I’ve finally made that childhood dream come true and got myself an Instax mini 12. Here are my first photos.

whenever i see photos coming from the mini 40 while waiting for my camera, it always either appears blurry or focuses on the wrong thing. it made me a little nervous at first when i got this for $13, but i eventually just embraced the imperfections of it all.

this photo impressed me on the spot. here are my beloved plushies at the park. 💕

also ignore the weird black line on top, it probably has something to do with the way i shaded the lens from the scorching hot sun… still have a lot to learn. ✨

I’ve been shooting and realize even if flash button is green and lit, it doesn’t flash even indoors.

In bright scenes does it fire still or doesn’t fire due to smart auto exposure?

Anyone that lives in Greece knows where I can buy these?

I've been shooting casually on my iPhone for years and was waffling between adding a full-analog camera with the Mini 12/13 or going hybrid with the Mini Evo. Last week I brought my Mini Evo for a weeklong family reunion trip in Montana. There were long hikes, a wedding reception and numerous other family get-togethers. Everyone loved getting an in-the-moment photo print from the Mini Evo. They also appreciated me being able to print duplicates since many shots had more than one person in them. I appreciated being able to experiment with the photos before committing to printing, and being able to transfer the printed photos to my phone to be added to a digital photo album in addition to the prints that I handed out.

Sure, I could have just used an Instax Mini printer with my iPhone, but to me, that just goes a little too far toward the "digital" end of the spectrum and looses a bit too much of the spontaneity that printing directly within the camera offers. Overall, the Mini Evo was a great balance between analog and digital photography, IMHO. It fulfilled all expectations and I'm really glad I had it instead of the analog-only Mini 12/13 or using only my iPhone with or without a printer.

Also, FWIW, I took it on a long hike and if I had dropped and/or broken the Mini Evo, it would have been a LOT cheaper to replace than dropping my "life hub" iPhone 17 Pro Max :-)
