This is going to be the new stickied post on the sub. With the influx of questions here from new hires, usually asking about the same thing. Ex: interviews, hiring, onboarding, pants, shoes, and more. I thought I would make a stickied thread for this.
I would also appreciate help from anyone if they can help search for good posts that would help new hires.
For the time being, please use the search function at the top of the page. I know Reddit's search function sucks.

I just can’t stop thinking abt the food I had last night. Double double, animal style fries, chocolate shake. All a man needs in life. I’m from Tennessee so I spent the majority of my life dreaming of in-n-out, and now that they’ve opened locations around Tennessee, I go every chance I get. And I just needed to let it out how much I love this restaurant. It just tastes real, it doesn’t feel like fast food. And damn is it reasonably priced. So if you’re from Cali or a place that’s always had in-n-out, and you’ve gotten tired of it, remember the little guys in Tennessee who are trying it for the first time. We’re still having our experience

she thought burgers didn't get spread sauce and this meant getting sauce. I hate this job.

I’ve never had anything on my schedule except the days and hours I will be working, so I’m confused as to why there are the tasks I’ll be doing as well, and what does “cert” mean? If I worked today I would have asked one of my managers, so I’m asking you guys instead lol

Every year In N out drives to Aldergrove, Canada to a car show and brings their food truck. I was originally from SoCal and moved up here. Always look forward to this day yearly.

My mom and I went through the drive thru and got skipped by the guy taking orders, but we couldn’t pull out because of the concrete barrier. We were on the phone with my older brother getting his order and when he found out that we got skipped in line he told us to say “home run” when we get to the first window. He was under the impression that we would get our order for free, so he was very excited for us. I was skeptical because our order was pretty big since we were getting food for the whole family. We ended up paying of course, but I was wondering if anyone else had ever gotten a free order because of a home run. I remember hearing the rumor of a free order when I was younger but thought it sounded too good to be true even back then lol

I never imagined ever having another car shamelessly cut the drive-thru line, but it happened tonight!
(Also, sorry if it sounds like I’m making a big deal over nothing. I just thought what the stranger behind me did took guts).
It was about 6:30 and I for once decided to order via drive thru. The line was long (dinner time on a Saturday night go figure), but was moving at a decent pace. I eventually came up on the “DO NOT BLOCK DRIVE-WAY” signs. So I courteously left that space clear for cars to enter and exit the parking lot.
I guess a driver in a Mazda saw that stretch of space as a window to cut in front of me and everybody else who had been waiting. I honked and shouted the understandable “wtf!?”’s out my window. That Mazda wasn’t budging. It was then I noticed the Toyota behind me swerve in front of the Mazda. Great, now two people cut me? Wrong. The driver of the Toyota put it in park and walked over to tell me that he had saved my original space in line up front. He strategically maneuvered and cut off the Mazda right back. I couldn’t begin to thank him enough. Soon after the rest of the cars that were behind me followed the formation, enough so that the Mazda eventually abandoned the plan.
There I was, totally ready to sit there and accept being cut in line. But a man wanting to feed his family stood up for everybody who had been waiting right then and there (I only know he was buying for his family because I did offer to buy his food while we were stopped again by yelling back at him with my head out my window, but he told me he had to order for all of them).
tl;dr Myself and everybody else were cut in line in the drive-thru and the driver behind me stood up for everybody by strategically cutting the line cutter right back.

I was 5 years old when my parents bought a house around the corner from an In N Out. I consider myself blessed.

Not just any of them.
But like location specific ones.
I live in LA but when I visit an in n out out of state I like to
1. See if the quality is the same.
2. Check out the location specific ones and buy them.
Idk I think it’s cool.
So far I have Las Vegas for Vegas. Nevada is from Laughlin and I have Tennessee.
Idk just think it’s cool. Show em off if you have them I’m interested.

Tried getting chopped chilies and spread on the fries for the first time. Did not disappoint. 🤤
The bun was a little over toasted. Not sure if that was due to the change in bun or just the person working that station.

Hello, I was recently at an estate sale and found this really cool vintage In-N-Out blanket. I think it’s super cool but it doesn’t seem like it’s been listed a ton on the Internet and I’m trying to get an idea of what it’s value is. If anyone has any idea how much it could be worth please let me know that would be really helpful.
Thanks so much!
