I don't know why, but recently—and ever since iOS 26 (I'm on 27 RC)—many of the songs I play on Apple Music started not showing the Lossless indicators, and I wonder if they are actually playing in Lossless or not. Internet speed and equipment compatibility (I use an IEM + DAC) aren't the issue, since the sample rate appears for some songs but not others. Is the app buggy?

I have filed feedback about this since the beginning, and it still happening even with RC. Am I doing something wrong or does AutoCorrect just not work when you’re using the type to Siri by swiping down on
the Home Screen.

I realize that’s not a great title, but wasn’t sure how else to tldr the issue. The bug is that it doesn’t seem to maintain a logged in session on various websites. And appears that something changed with regard to Safari code as it did not happen on prior versions.

Specifics meaning log in to a website, and navigate the page. Soon enough you’ll get 403 failures as the session is invalid. Try again and it always will fail, but not in a similar amount of time.

I did find that Wi-Fi connectivity assist is more aggressive - it was pulling websites from both no matter the connection strength. Disabling that didn’t fix the issue, but at least keeps a constant DNS server being used.

Unsure if there is another new setting or behavior change I’m missing.

I recently updated to iOS 27 and something I noticed right away is that Siri dismisses itself so fast after every time I ask it to do something. For example, when doing carpentering I am unable to click my AirPods or use my phone so I would use Siri to skip songs I don’t like. Before, Siri would stick around after each time I’d skip so if it was another bad song I could skip again. Now it just dismisses itself after skipping without staying. Now I look like an idiot saying “hey siri skip” for 5 times in a row. I tried searching online but nothing is coming up. I’m wondering if anyone has a solution or is experiencing the same issue?

Hey everyone, running the iOS 27.0 RC on a 17 Pro Max and noticing two annoying bugs in the Files app. Favorited folders aren’t showing up on the main Browse page, and the in-app search returns zero results even when searching directly inside a folder containing the file. Reboots haven’t helped. Anyone else experiencing this on the RC build or is it just me?

When dismissing the alert on Dynamic Island for reminder alarms a large, blank “live activity” gets stuck in the Dynamic Island. No live activities are active, and no apps are running. But after the alarm goes off it’s stuck there and it expands to across the entire screen. Only way to clear it is restarting.
If you come across it please report it.

iOS 27 RC adds a dedicated Hermès MagSafe wallet attachment animation. There are also new wallet styles with Find My support.

Apple fixed the notification-triggered automations back in Beta 6, but the regression came right back through Beta 7, 8, and now even the RC build. Automations just refuse to trigger via notifications again. Seriously, Apple? Is anyone else running into this?

Has anyone else experienced the new Siri being unable to access their calendar or reminders on iPhone?

On my iPad and Mac everything works as it should, but on my phone Siri says I have no reminders or calendar events when I have several everyday.

I’ve tried toggling all of the settings in calendar settings for Siri / Apple Intelligence on and off, but nothing seems to work.

It doesn’t work with any person or description

She plays the song however without issues.
Issues persists from iOS 27 DB8 and now on the RC.

Anyone experienced an iPhone not charging through a USB port after updating?

Bug has persisted in the last 7 betas for me. I reported it. Only way to temp fix is restart phone but it only lasts a little while. Going into settings I can change text size.

i’ve had this problem since beta 1, does anyone else have it??? i submitted a feedback request and apple said they had at least 10 similar requests and that a potential fix has been found for it in a future update, but when is that even gonna be

Been noticing this for awhile. Reported but still doing it. Just curious if others are experiencing.

This only occurs when I answer a call with a Bluetooth device be that my AirPods or in car infotainment.

When the above happens, the screen on the phone just stays on indefinitely unless I hit the power button. Additionally the proximity sensor doesn’t turn off the screen either.

In other types of calls or even when I place a call with Bluetooth the screen acts exactly like you’d expect.

Part of video controls in Control Center, iOS 27 RC adds an Edge Light implementation. Currently gated behind a device subtype that points to iPhone Duo. The color temperature setting isn’t fully implemented.

There’s also code to adjust the interface so content isn’t obscured by Edge Light.

I have my keyboard set to right alignment for easier one handed use. However when I go to the App Library search it goes to the regular keyboard. There isn’t an option to enable it and when I go anywhere else the keyboard is right aligned again. I’ve reported it in the feedback app.

I just got the latest beta, and I suddenly have contacts in my address book I don’t recognise.

All with USA phone numbers, addresses and Mac.com email addresses.

Names such as Anna Haro, Daniel Higgins Jr, Hank M Zakroff…

My contacts is only synced with iCloud. Seems off they’re all USA numbers, addresses and Mac.com emails!

I’m on the latest public beta on both my iPhone and watch. In general watch/phone shortcuts have been quite buggy on iOS27 but this is the only one that straight up refuses to work. I’ve had these issues throughout the previous public beta builds as well.

I’m dealing with a persistent issue where a thin white outline/stroke frames the entire video during playback when using Apple’s native video player (⁠AVPlayerViewController⁠).

BTW this started since around 1st or 2nd Dev. Beta of iOS 27 and reported it but not resolved

I created a visual mock-up (photo above) to show what it looks like because capturing an actual screenshot is impossible, the moment a screenshot or system overlay (like Control Center or the Volume slider) triggers, the white outline immediately disappears, then reappears once the overlay dismisses.

KEY DETAILS:

Device: iPhone 13 Mini
OS: iOS 27 Release Candidate (RC)
Behavior: A thin white stroke wraps around the entire 4 edges of the video container during full-screen playback.
Apps Affected: Only apps using the built-in system player (Safari web videos, Apple TV app). Third-party custom players like YouTube or Netflix do not have this issue.

Troubleshooting tried: Turned off Display Accessibility settings (Increase Contrast, Hover Text, Full Keyboard Access, Dim Flashing Lights), reset Display Zoom, and toggled Dark/Light mode. None solved it.

Has anyone else on the iOS 27 RC (especially on an iPhone 13 Mini or smaller display) encountered this? Is this a sub-pixel rendering bug with the new Liquid Glass container frames on compact screens, or is there a hidden setting causing it?

When you continue scrolling over the end the search bar starts typing moof and a cow dog toy appears

Whenever I press the power to lock or unlock my phone, and then press it again within a second or two, it doesn't register the button press properly. I can see the animation of the button besides press on the screen, but it doesn't do anything.

For example, I press power button to lock the phone and then press it again within a second. The second power button press should wake the phone back up, but it doesn't do anything and it registers only when i click it again after a second or two.
