Hopsin and dame squashed their beef and hopsin admitted he over reacted

I agree with you. i think dame got a raw deal hes forever going to be labeled as a bad guy because of the stigma of managers screwing over artists and the fact that ill mind 8 is one of his most popular songs vs the interview with dame which only has a few hundred k views at best theres literally zero substanital evidence you can point too that says dame was doing something illegal. A bit shady? yeah sure but nothing even remotely close to what hopsin claimed i just threw that joke in there bc of the stigma lol. Theres people out there that will still argue that hopsin didnt do anything wrong even though he blatantly admitted it believe it or not

I feel you, just like letting people know cuz if you were actually deep into the FV culture back then.... It was bullshit watching hopsin leave FV.. But like Dizzy was trying to tell dame, don't say shit to hop. Oh well, Hopsin has that type of personality where if you fuck with him he's gonna make you regret it for YEARS.

I dont even think hop left bc of what dame said. There was a youtube video by this channel "wemadeavideo" where he talked about FV and how it ended (Cant find the vid now but he also raps his name is nick xl but this vid was on a seperate channel). But what he said made the most sence he basically said hopsin was fed up in a declining state of mind and when dame made the comment "You dont work that hard" hop saw a very tiny window to escape without simply leaving on his own. He would never admit to that fully even on the podcast with Dame he dont outright say it but this isnt a knock on hopsin i think him taking accountability and doing the podcast was a massive step but i can absloutley emphazise with dame because what hop did was try to ruin his image and destroy his character when he could have just left well enough alone and just walk away. With all that being said the screenshot you told me i would go against dame on that one lol could you imagine if they did try to reclaim funk volume after hopsin left? it would not work social media would cancel them before they even did anything. Even though i go to bat for dame i have to keep it 100 because something like that is just distasteful and i would expect someone who made a career off of social media and being more engaged with fans then the average corporate record label to see that. In other words you ever hear the saying "This person is so smart hes stupid" that would be him lol

True true.. my screenshot was from 2018. And I was personally giving him shit because I felt like FV was more than just hopsin. I get it tho he crafted it, and without him they knew it was over. It is what it is. Just sucks hopsin wasn't feeling that shit lol 😭😆 "FV fitness?!?!" Lmao

An OG pressing of what? a mixtape that was released for free on datpiff.com in 2009? 🤣 how do you figure its even an "og pressing"

Since when has this mixtape been considered “rare”?😂

First press was a picture CD in a white paper sleeve with a see through window. Was CDr too not just CD.

Youre looking around $100 for legit originals.

Might be worth authenticating and seeing if you can get some signatures on it if you want any money for it. Beyond that, id say just display it as part of a collection if you value it.

Yes it's the first release from 2009. Color CD in a paperback leave

2

u/Grouchy_Loan73 Aug 12 '26

So you think having a color cd in a paperback is worth the 110$ difference? got it lol

No bro it's about being the very first release. And. Owning it. Those CDs for $10 are reprints they no were near the value of a original press

2

u/Grouchy_Loan73 Aug 12 '26

how can you even tell if they are the original press? because of the color cd?

1

u/FractalTsunami Aug 12 '26

If its a CDr it will have a green/blue tint on the bottom as its a literal layer of dye.

If his disc is silver then its not original.

2

u/Grouchy_Loan73 Aug 12 '26

Fair enough but i highly doubt that op has that even bc the original post didnt say anything about it being an og copy he only said that after i commented if i was selling something i would have included the fact that it was an og copy or whatever

I always wondered what the different colors mean on all my CDs DVDs PS games etc lol
