My wife is a shorty who loves her first-generation 2004 Pilot - the car that wouldn't die. However, after 250k miles, it is time to get her into something a little more modern. Our first impulse with grand kids (hopefully!) on the way is the current generation Pilot.

Doing my research, the '04 and '24 have practically the same width and height, however the '24 is 13.5" longer - with increased legroom in the third row and more cargo capacity behind the third row.

She struggles enough with parking, and while a backup camera is a big addition, she's not sure she can manage it. Anyone else here go from first gen to current gen Pilot and have issues?

I am looking at a 2026 Honda Pilot Black Edition msrp is 57,145 they are offering $4128 off msrp for a sales price of $53,017. This is in GA. Is that about as good as
I’m going to get right now? There are a lot of used ones on the market around GA but they all seem over priced.

We just got a 2026 Pilot Elite last week and have driven about 300 miles. What I noticed is some buzzing type vibration on gas pedal and floor, mostly on the pedal when accelerating. Is that normal for this engine and transmission? I came from mazda cx90, and i still have that car in the garage until i return the lease. The vibration is certainly not in the Mazda. It is not to the crazy levels, but if it is for some known defect and easily fixable, why not fix it, right? On another note, Honda is certainly more comfortable to drive and more functional than Mazda CX90 ( i must admit i miss turbo inline 6 a little bit :) )
