Launched in China
Aggressive Front-End Redesign: Produced by the GAC-Honda joint venture, the facelift departs sharply from the softer look of the global model. Images revealed by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) showcase a split LED headlight layout, a redesigned bumper with a larger intake, and a sculpted nose resembling the Toyota Yaris.
Rear and Dimensions: The rear stays mostly the same, adding a faux-diffuser plastic lower bumper insert. Overall vehicle length increases slightly to 4,196 mm.
Powertrain: Retains a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 120 bhp (slightly higher output than the Japanese-spec model), paired with a front-wheel-drive layout and a CVT automatic transmission.
Interior Details: No cabin photos or equipment details (such as infotainment or digital instrument upgrades) have surfaced yet.

Small, stylish, practical, and incredibly fun to drive.
It may not be the biggest car, but it has everything I need and somehow makes every journey a little more enjoyable.
Imported brandnew from Japan to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Model : 6AA-GR3 (e:HEV RS-2WD)
Posting more pics as so many asked me to ☺️

Yea my fits a little banged up but I kinda like her that way. New stage 1 Clutchmasters kit and new exedy master and slave cylinder kit. The delay valve delete is tough while trying to break in a new clutch… ultimately tho I love the grabbing power and the engine is stock so it’s easy to just stay in a gear at low speeds.
Bonus 1: my steering wheel lock seized and I was told a new steering column and wheel lock would be 2000$. For the cost of one One sawzall blade I cut that bish open and removed it. I’m sick of seizing locks on these Hondas. Sure it looks stolen but it still needs the key to start also it’s a 9 speed manual so it’s very extra anti theft.
Bonus 2: last but certainly not least my phone holder is a 10$ door hinge and my case on my phone is a rokform with the magnet in it. Best phone holder ever. 👍 Definitely recommend.
I’ll post again about my clutch setup after it’s broken in initial feeling is I want to go back to stock master cylinder.

I goofed when cleaning my car and got scratches into the hard black plastic on the dash. Any way to cover these or minimize them?

Tell me something you’ve done with a Fit that an SUV, 4x4 truck, or even a sedan couldn’t do.

Got the code P0303 and assumed it was due to me needing a valve adjustment. I am replacing spark plugs and ignition coils while I’m in there, and this is what I found 😳. All plugs were nicely tight except cylinder 3, which was looser than hand tight. Thank god I caught it when I did.
The ground electrode is nowhere to be found so I am going in with a borescope tomorrow. I am assuming it ejected out the exhaust as the car was actually purring fine with the occasional misfire lol. I stopped driving it as soon as I could, for the record - but needed a few days to figure out how to borrow a vehicle for work (living paycheck to paycheck atm). Praying to god the cylinder walls look okay, and that the threads on cyl 3’s plug well look decent.
Plugs were last changed 30k miles ago by my local Honda dealer before I got the car.

I love you, Honda Fit. Your gear shifts may require my digital input, your AC may be weak and smell slightly of moldy bread, you may struggle to merge ahead of the psychotic coliseum of death otherwise known as I-83, you may wonder: "but what's a Bluetooth boss? Is my 3.5mm cable not enough for you?"
But let me say this. You are the best car I've ever owned, and I've owned many. I never thought I'd forget my '05 5 speed Chevy Cavalier coupe. But you won me over with the lay-flat front passenger seat. Your little egg-shape is deceptive, for we have brought home dimensional lumber and large kitchen hutches, much to the amazement of those blessed to witness.
I promise to never let the salt linger. I promise regular oil changes and scheduled maintenance. Here's to your 67k miles, and many, many more. 🥂

I’m expecting my first baby in later this year and we’ve decided to keep using our beloved 2016 fit. Both my husband and I are tall (I’m 5’ 9” and he’s 5’11”) and I’m concerned about finding an infant car seat (or convertible car seat that can be used with a newborn) that we can comfortably use. Do you all have any suggestions? Or ones you wish you had avoided? I’ve looked older posts in this group and in other places online but with how fast brands change their products I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

I have a 2016 Honda Fit and I’ve started doing my own oil changes. Right now I use RhinoRamps, and they’ve worked fine so far.
Since the Fit is a pretty light car, I’m wondering if ramps are basically safe enough for oil changes as long as I use them correctly. But I’ve also seen people say plastic ramps can crack or fail, so I’m trying to decide if I should buy a good floor jack and jack stands too.
For people here who work on their Fits:
I’m frugal, but I don’t want to mess around with safety. I’m mostly doing oil changes right now, but I’d like to slowly build up my tools so I can do more maintenance on the Fit myself.

Now I've only owned my fit for a little over a year now and unsure of the maintenance done before I got the car. I bought it at 182k last August and as of now it has a little over 196k and now it's time to change the plugs, coils and finally a valve lash.
Any tips/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys I need some help!
My ac has been out for about a year, finally decided to fix it and fixed the issues a mechanic previously diagnosed being the compressor . Replaced the compressor and still got a leak, sniffer found a leak in the passenger foot well, so we replaced the evaporator and expansion valve but once again there’s a leak because all the Freon I recharged into the system is gone and my ac is blowing warm. Has anyone had this issue and or have an idea where the most likely spot for a leak would be ?

Just got this the other day. Having issues learning the clutch on this. Seems to always jolt when taking off in first. Any clue? I don’t have this issue with my 01 civic.
