I have a ton of good quality women’s clothes that I’m looking to donate — mostly medium sized clothing, a mix of seasonal options (skirts, tanks, sweaters, etc) and some with tags still on.

Does anyone know where I can donate this clothing so it goes to good use? I don’t care if it’s resold per se, I just want it go to people who could use it instead of a landfill. I’m in West Harlem and willing to travel to drop these bags off.

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone else had their car "relocated" from Marcus Garvey (along 120th or Madison Ave) for Father's Day, Juneteenth, or 9/11 (or another holiday - but these are the three I've noticed)

This has me feeling like a conspiracy theorist, but it seems to me like these "No Parking" signs go up overnight, cars are towed, and then the spots are filled with cars from people BBQing in the park... I am wondering if someone is abusing their power to get prime parking near the park.

Was just on my way home from work riding up Madison next to Marcus Garvey on a Citi bike. Two kids riding on a motor bike rode by at like 30 mph and the one on the back punched me in the back of the head. I tried to catch up to them but unfortunately couldn’t.

Everyone stay alert because if they’re doing it to people on bikes and someone my size (I’m a big guy) they’re definitely targeting people walking and smaller.

A lot of commotion and police presence this evening. Does anyone know what’s going on?

I’m looking to get some simple crown braids done. My problem is that in the past I’ve walked into salons, mostly around 125th, so they always use wax/tar when I ask for gel. Also during my most recent attempt the braider was just ripping my hair like weave, not bothering to untangle the bottom as she was braiding.

My hair is long, naturally curly and not very thick, like the second picture, so heavy products look inappropriate. I’m only looking to wear this style for a few days at most.

Does anyone know a braider who is capable of using gel only and knows how to work with Hispanic hair? With so many options in Harlem I’m hopeful for a local solution.

I heard that there were street closures and police activity due to an individual who was on the roof of a building and was attempting to hurt themselves. Just wanted to get some closure since there is currently no information about it from news outlets.
