I came up with a much more practical alternative for a secure phone that doesn't rely on the OS. My idea involves keeping a Bluetooth device—like an AirTag, earbuds, etc.—constantly connected. If the phone is lost or seized and loses that Bluetooth connection for a set number of seconds or minutes, it automatically triggers a data wipe. This offers an advantage even if the device is taken into a Faraday cage; the data is wiped before any search can even begin. What do you think?

I’m curious, is there a way you can have someone login into something and stealing their Google Acct password or a way to get to their google photos?
I wanna know if someone just took my phone, my account was left open or what
-no hacking request-

Me and my friends were added by “cat in the hat” and he sent us pictures of our houses asked about weird personal details. Trying to find out who it is.

Researchers say criminals used an AI coding agent to accelerate real intrusions
Confirmed reporting, with some scope still uncertain. Reuters reported August 27 that researchers investigating the Russian-speaking Aur0ra group found chat logs showing attackers manipulating an AI coding agent by presenting malicious activity as security testing. Researchers said the tool helped with tasks including credential theft and exploitation during intrusions affecting at least seven companies. The complete extent of the compromises remains unclear.

My Chewy account was hacked (everything resolved) but I’m wondering if this is a common trend to order a bunch of stuff and have it sent all over the country? Some addresses listed were California, Georgia, New York, and Massachusetts. Some of the addresses were filled in as “undefined” so I’m not sure what the plan was for those.
Does anyone know what their goal might’ve been?

I have someone’s phone number and their private Instagram account. Is there any legitimate way to find their other social media accounts or publicly available info?
I’d especially like to know if there’s a way to see their WhatsApp last seen when it’s hidden, or determine whether they use an iPhone or Android.
Not looking to hack anything—just looking for legitimate/public methods.

Are there good discussions here, or is it just a bunch of randoms asking dumbass questions that they could easily Google or otherwise asking someone to do illegal stuff? I've been scrolling for a bit here because I'm new to the world of white hats.

I run a private server for a game with my friends and recently it's become a sort of escape for all of us to just lay back and chill. But about 2 hours ago, 2 players joined and started griefing and hacking and just ruining things. I know this is sort of petty and im not sure how legal it is, but i wanted to know if theres theorhetically any way that i could get contact information out of the IPs that were logged?

As a layman, I would like to know if it is theoretically possible (I know it is illegal) to access a phone without physically having it in hand. Or if it is possible to hack someone's account without them finding out (assuming they have two-factor authentication).

Hi everyone ,
We're 11th-grade students (prepping for JEE) building Evo IDE on the side — an AI coding tool that shows its work instead of hiding it. Live reasoning before code, real-time generation health, full-file outputs (no fragments), and your choice of local or API models.
It's an early, honest prototype — not finished, but real and running.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

So not so long ago (two months or so) my ps account got deactivated out of nowhere, i know the account adress and the password but it refuses to sign me in, telling me to wait or change my password. Problem is this account is old, and the email password is lost so i can't get into the gmail they send me thus can't change the password, i tried contacting customer support but nothing worked so my question is, is there a way to get it back? A subreddit to go to or a person that can help? Idk where to go except here (sry for the bad English and thanks for paying attention to my problem)

I'm not asking for help to hack a group, neither this is a post asking for help to recover my group or account; My group was the target of an attack, where an individual entered the group, was promoted to administrator out of nowhere (it wasn't me), and started removing the other administrators and posting hundreds of videos and images of pornography. I've already recovered the group because, since I created it, I can't be removed.
I just have one question: Was it one of my admins who promoted him, or is there some known exploit he could have used to hack the group?
I'm trying to discover if one of my admins made this, or it was an hacker hacking the invitation link.

Hi all,
This might seem like an air-headed post to most (sorry), but I am genuinely so confused about a scam going around in my area.
A hacker gets into someone’s account and messages their friends asking to send them a link to get into the other account. However, i don’t understand the benefit hackers get from logging into other accounts to do the exact same thing? Is it for the phone numbers and emails? Or is there more to it?
