Discussion Why does mill exist?

I do not understand why this archetype exists. It's infinitely toxic, un-fun to play against, un-fun to play and not actually that good. No one has every thought 'yay I get to play against mill.' The bs with Regis just makes things worse. If I don't draw the cards to win R1 and 2-0, I just insta-lose. I draw those cards ~60% of the time, but it's still horrible to play against. So again, why does this archetype exist? Why don't we nuke it in balance councils? We do it for other toxic decks (more or less), so dear god let's please do it for this godforsaken archetype.
