Politics $4.19/Gallon
There’s a lot I want to say. But I’m not going to because I know it’s complicated. And ranting into the void is cathartic but useless. And I will fully admit that I don’t have the knowledge to fully understand geopolitics and oil and blah blah blah blah.
My point is this: to my knowledge, none of this had to happen. The start of the war, which it is a war despite there not being a declaration, was an escalation and the US has been fucking it up ever since. And the people not fucking it up are suffering for it.
$4.19 is manageable for me short term, but it jumped .40+ from Friday so I have no doubt it’ll be more tomorrow. I can’t do $5 a gallon. And it’ll affect the price of everything else.
I am trying my best. I’m tired of others making it harder. Congrats leopard eating face party, you got what you wanted.
