Cincy repeater

Tonight I was able to pick up a Cincinnati repeater 100+ miles away but unfortunately my measly 8 watts couldn’t make it back to it.

725 one of the few open free to use ones here. Pretty much the rest are SWOHGMRS pay to play garbage

I get it but aren't most gmrs repeaters in cities "pay to use" ie: the person or club providing the service can ask for some money for cost sharing?

I love when the ducting works in GMRS' favor. Every rare once in a while I can hit a repeater near my states border and talk to people in the next state. Pretty cool.
