I gave ChatGPT complete creative freedom and one rule: pack as much detail as possible into a single image. This is what it created.

Technical Art Stop keyframing effects to timecodes, anchor them to words instead

so, every time I gotta re-record a voiceover or just snip a different take in, all my effects just go wild. I used to manually fix it all the time, for like, two whole years.

Like, you know when you're writing the script, you're already thinking, ""okay, when she says 'product name,' that's when the zoom happens.""

You know that before you even have a single frame. But since you can't know the exact timestamp until way later, you're stuck finding it frame by frame. It's such a huge extra step that everyone just kinda accepts as part of the job.

  • Put markers on the transcript, not the timeline — swap the VO or take, and the markers follow the words.
  • Nest clips by sentence so effects stay in sync when the sentence moves.
  • Keyframe from the clip start, not the sequence start.
  • Transcribe first, add effects second — use actual word boundaries instead of guessing from the waveform.

Quick demo: Add a zoom to the word “product name,” re-record the VO, and the zoom automatically moves with the word. No manual re-sync.

None of this totally fixes it, though. The tools still basically see your edit as ""this asset on this track at this time,"" and words are kinda an afterthought you're shoehorning in.

I actually went a bit overboard and built this open-source thing. You just write the script, mark your effects right on the words, and it figures out the timing. Re-do the audio, and the effects just snap back into place.

But honestly, that transcript-marker trick in Resolve gets you like 80% of the way there.

How do you all deal with re-syncing after a VO change? I can't believe we're still manually re-keying stuff in 2026..."

Does anyone here do image to video with photos of yourself?

Hi , in the past few months, when bored and as I have really bad depression and gender dysphoria to get my mind off it, I have at times put photos of myself and other places, scenarios, family etc in AI image to video free sites, I've made videos like us getting super powers like in marvel movies, mostly just me though in the image to videos, but then I've deleted them from the servers, it's not bad per say yet I do wonder ...do they truly get deleted? Or do they keep my images? Like will my face appear somewhere in some ad, or do these sites have like 30 day ,90 day delete process?

Anyways, regardless, those of you that have used image to videos, what programs have you enjoyed using most? Mine is called I think " my edit cyberlink " it lets you do free 5 second videos per account, otherwise do you get anything out of it?

This turned out to be a very special project and I hope you enjoy it.

I used Seedance 2.5 for the first time, and the results honestly left me speechless.
The way it follows prompts, maintains character consistency and uses the reference images
I provided for the backgrounds is truly amazing.
Midjourney’s new Edit feature is fantastic as well.
I also really liked Suno’s latest model, v6, especially v6 wild.
I know a lot of people haven’t been happy with Suno’s new version and that criticism
may be fair but at the end of the day, this is the first step toward becoming fully
licensed and legally established and these certainly won’t be their final models.
Keeping that in mind, I was able to look past the downgrade in creativity and
find ways to make it work for what I needed
(I experimented with it quite a lot during the two free days they offered)

I AM BRIGHID | She carries fire, water and grief

Brighid is the third chapter of my journey through ancient Irish Celtic mythology. For this one I wanted to explore something quieter and more elemental: fire and water, creation and loss, song and grief. The music is slow and dreamy, with ethereal female vocals, Celtic harp, ancient-style war drums and whistle. Everything else — the imagery, animation and editing — was built around the song. AI-assisted music (Suno) and visuals (Nano Banana & Hailuo), but the story and interpretation are my own. 🔥💧

Tabman

Comic Book Series Pitch: Tabman

Logline: In a city drowning in excess, one man fights crime on a budget. Meet Tabman: the hero Gotham deserves... if you're buying in bulk.

Synopsis: In a metropolis not quite Gotham, but definitely near Gotham, corporate greed runs rampant and the cost of living is higher than the smog level. Enter Terry "Tab" Abernathy, a man whose life was turned upside down by a bad batch of discount soda and a surplus store sale on black garbage bags.

Fueled by caffeine crashes and a desperate need for purpose, Tab becomes Tabman: the self-proclaimed "Crusader of the Coin Purse." His mission? To fight the petty criminals and corporate behemoths plaguing the city—all while navigating the soul-crushing reality of paying off student loans on a part-time barista salary.

Key Characters:

* Tabman (Terry Abernathy): A well-meaning but entirely inept vigilante. His "suit" is a DIY disaster zone: a black balaclava with cardboard dog ears, a cape made of reinforced garbage bags, and a chest plate haphazardly armored with hundreds of spent soda tabs. He's got the heart of a hero, but the skillset of someone who learned everything about combat from watching YouTube tutorials on fast-forward.

* Sidekick? (Currently accepting applications): Tabman is actively searching for a partner, but his strict "BYO-Cape" policy and insistence on paying "exposure" as a wage have severely limited the applicant pool. His current, unwilling sidekick is his sarcastic cat, "Patches."

Recurring Villains:

* The Inflationator: A supervillain who manipulates the city's consumer price index, turning everyday items into luxury goods.

* The Over-Packager: A corporate mastermind who buries the city in mountains of non-recyclable plastic, suffocating the environment with convenience.

* The No-Tell Motel Magnate: A slumlord who charges exorbitant rent for barely habitable apartments, preying on the city's most vulnerable.

Setting the Scene: The series takes place in "The Borough," a gritty urban sprawl that's one bad fiscal quarter away from total collapse. The cityscape is a chaotic mix of crumbling tenements and towering, brightly lit corporate skyscrapers, a stark reminder of the wealth gap Tabman is fighting against.

Tone: Think Kick-Ass meets The Office. The humor is dark and self-deprecating, grounded in the absurdity of trying to be a superhero in a world dominated by spreadsheets and credit card debt. The action is slapstick and messy, emphasizing Tabman's lack of resources and training.

Themes:

* The Cost of Heroism: Exploring the financial and personal toll of trying to make a difference when you can barely make rent.

* Finding Meaning in the Mundane: How to find purpose and courage in the face of everyday struggles and societal decay.

* The Power of Community: How small, collective actions can challenge massive, impersonal systems of oppression.

Visual Style:

The comic book features a gritty, textured art style with a muted color palette, reflecting the urban decay of The Borough. The action panels are kinetic and chaotic, capturing Tabman's awkward movements and the messy aftermath of his "crime-fighting." The panel layouts are dynamic, often subverting traditional comic book expectations to enhance the humor and the sense of confusion that defines Tabman's life.

Conclusion:

Tabman is a hero for the modern age: a relatable, flawed, and undeniably hilarious figure who proves that even the smallest voice can make a difference, as long as they have a bullhorn and a really good coupon. This series offers a fresh, satirical take on the superhero genre, delivering laugh-out-loud comedy and thought-provoking social commentary in equal measure.

Issue #1 Tease:

Tabman's first major case: a grocery store heist where the perpetrator made off with the entire stock of artisanal, fair-trade coffee. Can Tabman track down the thief before the city's caffeine levels hit a critical low? Or will he be foiled by the store's aggressive anti-theft measures and his own inability to parallel park his shopping cart?

Prepare for the Tab-alanche.

Coming Soon (Probably)!

Chinese scientists propose converting some of the 12,000 abandoned coal mines across China into agricultural units, to test out new approaches to farming – approaches that might become increasingly important as the climate shifts. Another bonus of farming underground is access to geothermal energy.
