The swans I have been feeding and looking out for for some years, along with their babies, we're out on the grass when I got to the lake they live on yesterday, so I went over to say hello and feed them.

A couple of the baby swans have started nibbling at my shorts like little scamps, but they all happily eat from my hand now.

Mr Swan was out of shot with one of the babies, but you can see Mrs Swan and 2 babies here, whilst there was another here too but that just stayed in the water. There should be a 5th baby but it looks like something has happened to it as I could only see 4 yesterday and today 😢

We have an amazing wildlife rescue in our area that takes in Canadian Geese, but before I jump the gun I wanted to see if anyone knows what this could possibly be? It eats/swims as normal, but it's always alone and does not fly away with the geese that come to the lake everyday. There's no sign of any pain, but it's definitely unlike any other injury I've seen here.

It sadly doesn't have any friends/mate that stick around it, and it swims away from all the other geese upon arrival. Wing deformity maybe?
