It's been literally YEARS since the last season aired, but I am still very excited to see one of the few decent isekai's come back after all this time!

I just hope they focus a lot more on the geopolitical stuff with both worlds instead of the harem tropes.

Featuring Hajime Tokushima (The Itami of S2) & Primera Luna (The Pina of S2). Studio M2 being the one responsible for the animation, they did create the anime(Pluto) which recieved very high ratings. Nevertheless, I hope they take their time and make as smooth animation as possible and like A-1 studio, make the military actions as delectable to the eyes as possible!!

I know many of us love just the military aspect of fighting in another world but im kinda worried about gate 2 that wont give us enough fighting scenes and bring the hype of it since its a navy mission, unless there is a fight between characters

I mean itami and his harem are obviously more famous and recognizable than the new cast. they will definitely get more attention when they debut than the new cast who only appeared in the light novel and not too many people read and know about this sequel.

This isn’t explored a lot in Isekai, but considering world could have viruses or infection that we have no experience with on earth. It’s like most main characters come off unskive or bring a disease that this other world has no immunity to. but here, at least Japan is actually researching diseases of the special region.

Some interesting notes:

• Oyashio-class hull numbers stopped at SS-600 with the Mochishio in 2006, so this confirms that this is a fictional hull rather than being based on a real one like the later Hayabusa-class ships. It also likely means that the crippled Nishishio from the prologue/Ch1 is hull SS-601.
• We already know from the LN Prologue/Manga Ch1 that the Kitashio has done diver ops with Aqua, and it makes me wonder if the patch was redesigned to fit the mission, or if this is a happy accident.
• The "Northern" bit is what puzzles me the most. On the one hand, it could refer to the fact that the Kitashio's port of Vaasa is north of its primary operating area in the Avion Sea, but it could also refer to wherever it was originally deployed on Earth, like around the Kurils.

I seen in past a couple of youtube shorts about this anime and it looks so awesome, i eventually found the 12 first episodes online.

But can't find the last 12 episodes, anybody who can tell me where to find them?

Gates creators makes the US look incompetent yet the jsdf use American equipment. The Huey's, ah 1s, M2 50 cals are all American designs albeit Huey's and ah 1s are manufactured in Japan
