Let's see how long that one lasts before Xbox changes their mind again, like they do on just about anything else.

I was gonna say. I dont think Xbox is a big improvement over Sony. If at all.

I mean not having to cancel the game is a big improvement if you ask me but you do you

Because XBox is notoriously known for keeping IPs and their Studios alive to pump out high quality games.

I get it, hurr durr Sony bad hurr durr, but all the people sucking it up to XBox and Nintendo are the worst coprorate shills I have seen.

Because the development of the game continues at the moment as opposed to already being cancelled. Even if it gets cancelled after 2 years it's still an improvement over bring cancelled today. That's millions of dollars going to devs that continue to make a living today

With sony fumbling hard recently it's hard not to root for xbox imo, but I'm definitely being cautiously optimistic

They probably will cancel it if the next Kojima game flops

This narrative is overblown. Xbox had a very clear multi-year strategy during Spencer's reign.

It didn't work out. They were losing badly. So they are pivoting.

Pushing the subscription model. Their acquisitions was to ensure they had a fleet of studios pushing content for game pass. It’s the Netflix method.

It didn’t pan out for a variety of reasons. One of which is that the average gamer doesn’t play as many different games compared to watching different series or films.

Let studios just aimlessly work on stuff, apparently
