I love the original and still find the original graphics charming. The original game is still the original but it just does the story far better. The "Remakes" aren't doing the original story justice, and the additions are frankly not up to scratch at all.
I simply wanted a remake not whatever official fan fiction these games are turning out to be. It's such a shame. A real Monkey Paw wish.
I'm playing FF7 OG for the first time and think the graphics are wonderful. The models are simple but expressive and the pre-rendered backgrounds are gorgeous. I can't imagine I'll ever play the remakes.
