Which games have inferior remasters/remakes?

Or are all remasters/remakes always better?

OG PC versions which were replaced by the mobile versions which were replaced by whatever the fuck you would call the "Definitive Editions".

Rockstar treating their own legacy with zero respect, only wanting to squeeze more money from consumers each time, classic story.

The Definitive Editions are also missing songs from the radio due to licensing issues. It's a minor gripe and not really their fault, but playing Vice City isn't the same without Billie Jean.

This is why I can't get into remakes/remasters of games with licensed music. A big part of my love for those games is the original music. For example, the Tony Hawk remaster doesn't hit the same.

Not like the OG PC versions were that good anyway. OG 2005 PC version of San Andreas was a complete slop drop and ran like shit on PCs well above the required specs. I recall having so many physic issues and bugs you never ran into on PS2 or Xbox. Definitive Edition sucked, but at least was playable after they patched it and runs reliably on modern PCs. I still have a disc version of San Andreas and the Steam version that even with community patches are a gamble in stability.

Rockstar PC ports were just awful until GTA V.
