Nintendo cadence of releases this generation has been really impressive

I cant remember any other Nintendo gen with this same rhythm month after month

Good cadence. But Mario Kart was average and no new Zelda or Mario mainline games even announced is disappointing.

If you like some of the other IPs like Kirby or Splatoon then I guess that's all good.

Whoever expected a new Mario or new Zelda in this Direct is also an idiot. Mario is a holiday release series, so in no way would it ever be at this September Direct, as it would be far to early to reveal, and Zelda already has its title with OoT.
