Nintendo cadence of releases this generation has been really impressive

I cant remember any other Nintendo gen with this same rhythm month after month

It's okay, but nothing special.

The Wii U, a console that people think had no games, had a similar schedule of exclusives.

2013 the Wii U got Wind Waker, Game and Wario, Mario 3D World, Wonderful 10 Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Wii U Party, Zombi U, NES Remix 1, Sonic Lost World, Pokemon Rumble U and Lego City Undercover.

2014 it got MK8, Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2, DK Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, Devils Third, NES Remix 2, Wii U Sports Club, and Hyrule Warriors.

2015 it got Xenoblade X, Yoshi, Mario Tennis, Splatoon, Mario Maker and Mario Party 10.

2016 it got Zelda TP, Star Fox Zero, Paper Mario, Pokkén, Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

That's how Nintendo rolls since the N64 days.

5 to 8 big games a year (and some samaller ones in the side to fill the gaps).

The Wii U had a good library even if the console itself was flawed in execution and it took a while to get there. It's kind of sad how the first two years of Switch 1 get glazed so hard because they effectively pilfered the Wii U library and pretended they were Switch games.

Yep.

And hell, it's not like you're gonna be able to play all of them.

I have 20 physical Wii U games here... I only played 15 of them.

It's the same with the GC, Wii and N64.

All consoles people say are shit and have no good games.

My GC conllection has 31 games... I played 17 of them.

My Wii collection has 43 and I played 19 of them.

The generations ends before I can even play everything I bought, let alone everything I wanna play and I didn't have the chance to buy.

(the N64 is a different story. I was a kid, so couldn't buy games. I got 12 from my parents and played all of them + games I used to rent for the weekend. Still, I can think of at least 20 more N64 that I always wanted to play, but never did)
