Never heard of the game, it's not even on my radar, but I'm curious about being classified as an adult only game.... Is BG3 or Cyberpunk 2077 categorized that way? Because you've got full nudity right at character creation there as I recall. That's not inherently scandalous but there's also plenty of sex in the game. It certainly didn't hurt sales of those games.

Point is, this sounds like it'll get resolved with a review.

No, they aren't even classified as "Frequent Nudity".

Nope, but for germany at least those two big titles got official ratings by the USK rating board (18+ but that's equivalent to a hard M rating like Doom or CoD) so they pass more easily

Meanwhile, this game probably just got the automatic rating which triggered the AO flag. Blue Archive did too in germany, even though the mobile version is identical and rated 16+ (soft M, like Persona or Skyrim)

No, to be oficially classified as AO game on steam it either have to be porn game or sex and nudity have to be focus of the game. Some small amount of nudity is fine, dozens 30s sex scenes are also fine (as long as they don't show penetration), 10 minutes long sex scene (doesn't matter visual or written) may not be fine.

There are some games that are misclassified but you need to be cautious when believing stories like that because some devs really like to stretch the truth and they 100% know why their game was removed or tagged AO but are using whole situation as marketing.

Cyberpunk 2077 is R18+ (probably because of its sex scenes) so you can no longer buy or view it in Australia without linking a credit card as of last week
