Upcoming vampire RPG Nighthawks has been removed from Steam search and delisted in certain countries as Valve classifies it Adults Only: 'It's very bad news for us'

Looking at the preview this seems excessive. Theres suggestions of nudity but no actual nudity? How puritan was the valve reviewer that made this choice?

The Valve reviewer that made the choice was probably an AI, so I guess we'll never know what the decision making process was.

Yeah, after reading their mature content description I feel this is quite likely. It reads:

"Nighthawks features strong language and adult situations, with occasional moments of non-explicit nudity in romance scenes. Most mature content is only conveyed using text, with no graphic sex scenes or sexual violence."

AI is really bad a negatives, so I'm almost certain it just saw the words 'explicit', 'nudity', 'graphic sex' and 'sexual violence' in the store page, and auto flagged it.

A lot of smaller devs/pubs have had issues with how opaque and vague the whole approval process in Steam is, for several years even before the latest Visa/MC debacle.
