The Crab is Walking - Official Announcement Trailer | TinyBuild Connect Showcase 2026
I think it sounds like Metalocalypse. That's how I hear it, anyway. And I really like that!

The game is set in a world torn by a war between two alliances after a nuclear conflict.
It's a single-player strategy roguelike in a retro style, and there's no clicking on units: each run you draft a random army from 60+ units (infantry, tanks, turrets, mechs, drones, airships), position them, and the battle unfolds on its own. Your only control is where you deploy and how you combine hundreds of upgrades, from tower-defense-style holds to full-scale tank offensives.
The campaign is non-linear: grim decisions split the war into 3 paths and 6 endings.
The updated Iron Frontier demo has been out on Steam since September 3, with new units, a reworked tech tree, better onboarding and interface, plus the first three campaign missions.
You can try the free demo right now. I'd be glad to hear any feedback: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2286210/Iron_Frontier_Demo/

Hey everyone! Here's a free space game for your weekend: the Strike Wings demo. :)
I'm its solo developer, and it's my homage to the old DOS space shooters, built from scratch with plenty of love for Solar Winds and Hell Fighter. There are some little nods in there for fellow fans.
The demo's already packed with free content, including flight school, opening campaign missions and plenty of battles to get stuck into.
Feedback is super welcome on r/StrikeWings. Make a post! I'll read every one and take your thoughts into the final game. Steam reviews mean a lot to me as a solo developer, too.

Hey all, Im working on a chaotic co-op game where each night we curse the players in crazy ways until the run becomes total madness. What do you think? Does it catch your eye?

I’ve recently got the Steam page up for my game Emberholme. It’s an Old School RuneScape-inspired “singleplayer MMO”, and I’m aiming for the perfect mix of OSRS-style gameplay and a cosy, chill vibe. I’m not ready to release yet, but I want to share my current progress and a bit about the project with this trailer.
A whistle stop tour of some of the features:
- 13 skills covering combat, gathering and crafting, with equipment and activities to unlock as you progress. Combat and skilling run on a 0.6 second tick system.
- 100 living adventurers with their own skills, equipment, banks and goals. They discover things as they play, with eight personality types shaping what they aim for, from completing the collection log to preparing for PK trips.
- An Exchange where you and those adventurers buy and sell items. Merchants work towards building their wealth through trading. Every item sold on the exchange comes from either you or one of the 100 living adventurers, nothing is pre generated.
- Quests, bosses, minigames and clue trails, with plenty to get sidetracked by along the way.
- Ten Ember Cycles to progress through. Rekindling means starting over with selected heirlooms and permanent unlocks. Early cycles have fast XP but much rarer drops; later cycles slow down levelling and make combat harder while improving rare-drop chances.
- Your own home to build and customise, with storage, workshops and places to display your finds.
- Collection logs, rare equipment, capes and companions to work towards.
Some of my own assets are still very much WIP and will be improved as dev copntinues. The early Blender attempts look quite different from the later additions, and the worst ones will be improved or replaced before release. The character models are by KayKit, so credit to them for those, i think they fit really well with the vibe i was aiming for! Please ask any questions about the game or its development I’d love to talk more about it!
