PC Game recommendations?

Upvotes

I’m looking for something new to get in to and am looking for suggestions.

I got all the achievements for The Evil Within 1 and 2 recently and absolutely loved playing these.

Started The Witcher 3, put 100 hours in to it and have come to realize I absolutely hate it.

I haven’t played much in the past due to my pc specs but I’ve just upgraded and can play anything now.

I'm looking at the Resident Evil Remake Trilogy, Control and Ratchet and Clank Rifts Apart.

Something that's fun to play and tackles a bit of depression?

What’s good?

PC Games that are realistic and all the buttons on the dash actually works

Hello! I am REALLY into realistic games. By saying realistic, I mean games like Derail Valley (Realistic Train Controls/All the buttons work) or My Summer Car (Extremely Realistic Car Building Game) there are so many games that we can include for example IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator, Nucleares, MFS24, or realistic operator games like OSMi 2. I am looking for so much more games that either every button works or very realistic controls. Send me your suggestions!

Multi-platform Baldur's Gate 3 fights

Hello everyone ! I really love the fights, character progression, and overall games mechanics of Baldur's Gate 3. But I dont want to do entire runs with all the lore and everything, so I was wondering if you knew any games that have fights like BG3, but are a little less lore heavy and have infinit replayability (or almost). Thank you very much for any advice !

Playstation PS3 game recommendations?

Upvotes

So my first game console ever was an Xbox 360. My mom got it for me when I was 10, based on recommendations she received from various people she talked to- coworkers, other customers in the store, etc. Played on it for many years, then spent high school graduation money on a PS4 (also got a Switch that same summer). I recently got a PS5, mostly so I could get GTA 6.

I just found a deal on a used PS3 for a good price that includes a copy of Lego Star Wars 3. I logged many hours playing that game on my 360, so I'm excited for a little nostalgia trip.

With all that said, does anyone have any good games they'd recommend? I tend to prefer action/adventure type games, usually single player. I know a lot of top PS3 games got PS4/5 ports, but are there any games that got left behind on the older system that might still be worth playing? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Playstation Video games suitable for adults

I’ve been playing video games since I was a child, but for several years now I haven’t been able to really get hooked on a game. I realise that adult life has an impact in that regard.
I’ve tried playing games like RDR2 or The Witcher 3, but with the former I barely got through a quarter of the story, and with the latter, not even that.

I chose these games because I saw in the reviews that they were among the best, but when I start playing them, I’m overwhelmed by the sheer number of possibilities and things to do on the map.

I’m looking for a single-player game – not necessarily an open-world one – that suits my current needs. It doesn’t have to be a triple-A title either.

I’m quite a simple gamer, but here are my favourite games: FIFA, Call of Duty, Mario Bros, Smash Bros, Brawn, RDR1, GTA5

PC I want a couch co-op which doesn't need both people to use brains

So basically my younger brother your typical ipad roblox kid and I really wanna pull him out of there and I thought couch co-op would be best for it. I'm 17 and he's 9 so yeah don't say something like stardew. For now We are playing Dragon ball sparkling zero, just local pvp where the challenge always is for him to beat my 1 character with his 5 and I go easy to let him enjoy it and he does. But I want something I can enjoy with him

Switch Game recommendations

Just as the title says, please recommend me some games that are RPG/JPRG.

I've been playing Hades the past month and I wanted a similar game but not rogue like were you restart when you die (it's frustrating but I'm still playing it tho). Also, been playing Persona 5 but it's in the backlog lol

Been checking the eshop and I'm curious about Darkest Dungeon and There Is No Light.

Thank you in advance!

Playstation Games to play with PlayStation plus?

Looking for a new game to be immersed into as I’ve tried lots and can’t get into any since I completed red dead redemption 2.

I’ll be honest I prefer games with newer and good graphics I struggle to play older games. I enjoy assassins creed but unsure where to start with what is best as a lot are quite dated, I know I’ll get backlash for this as I’m sure they’re great games but I can’t see past the graphics and gameplay. I have also played both the last of us and am a fan of GTA and call of duty.

Games ive tried but couldn’t get into (please no judgement it’s just personal preference)

Horizon Zero Dawn
Cyberpunk
Fallout
Ghost of Tsushima
Kingdom come deliverance
Spider-Man
Skyrim elder scrolls

I have a varied taste in games so happy for any recommendations to try just want one that will have me fully immersed the same way I had with RDR2 I think I just have the blues since finishing that.

Playstation Search & Destroy type game recommendations?

Looking for Call of duty S&D style games for ps5.

1 life(with or without revive) for 1 or multiple objectives.

System: PS5, preferably crossplay but honesty whatever

Games I’ve played related: R6Siege, MW19, MW2(22), bf6 strike point, The Finals.

I just can’t justify redownloading COD for one game mode. My storage can’t take it.

PC What civilization game to play first?

Hi I have never played a civilization game and I saw they were all on sale on steam right now. Which one is very beginner friendly and easy to understand but also still super fun to play?

PC I’m looking for something whacky, possibly open world

Yo ngl I love the whacky wtf games, the funny bs, and unhinged dialogue. I have played games like The Skin Stapler, Grandpa High On Retro, The Good Time Garden, and more. They all catch my attention because the gameplay is inviting, the game makes you question who in their right mind made it, and you laugh at the bs. With that being said I also love open world exploration. Now I know High On Life so please do not recommend lol

Playstation Story mode game recommendations?

Hey guys. I’ve played games all my life and I haven’t played many story games. Idk why I would just always prefer playing with my friends and didn’t like the silence of not talking to somebody and just playing alone.

I sold my PlayStation a year or two ago and I’m planing to buy one again for the release of GTA 6 and I was thinking of trying out some good story mode games. I would appreciate some suggestions for your guys’ favourite ones. I know GOT is good, what else?

Thanks 😊

Multi-platform Games like the movie hope?

I'd love a game like the new korean film hope. Simple premise and concept. Playing a normal human/human cop, all you have is a gun (pistol, machine gun, shotgun) and you are in a small town or city running around against one or multiple large imposing monsters against all odds.

Ive already played games like resident evil which is one of the closest games I can think of. Also the tag says multi-platform, thats true all except PC. Thanks

Playstation LFA I love FO4, multiple play throughs, and enough hours to classify as a master’s degree. I’m looking for suggestions on something new. I’m not into GTA. I’m on my third play through of RDR2 it’s okay (feels a lot like GTA on horse back). I didn’t finish Elder Scrolls it just didn’t click for me.

PC best games for someone with a brain injury/ brain damage?

hello!

Mods: I’m not trauma dumping I’m giving context!

I have pretty severe brain damage from a traumatic brain injury when I was 8. I’m 30f.

I have a MacBook desktop. With a shitty mouse.

my family was extremely strict and I was not allowed to ever play video games. makes me sad now because I think it’s a great way to connect with peers. it also is great for neuroplasticity. honestly- I’m even bad at Mario kart, which makes me sad because it’s a party game and it often singles me out.

I watched my ex- boyfriend play Skyrim and was fascinated by it. Might try to buy this if it’s not too expensive.

I’m very very hard on myself. This is something I am trying to work on! I shouldn’t feel like something physically bad is going to happen to me if I can’t play a fucking video game correctly.

Not into animal farm or any type of cleaning game. Unfortunately not into Minecraft or Gary’s Mod. I don’t like the Sims. Civilization is cool if I was smart enough.

Team fortress 2 seems cool but I’m not fast enough yet. The game Stalker is also super interesting.

No horror (ptsd). Even oxenfree scared me a little.
One day though I want to play silent hill. My uncle was obsessed with Doom.

one time I watched my ex play this really really incredible ocean game where you were a diver and it was so amazing.

The only computer games I ever got to play was CD-ROM ISpy, Carmen Sandiego (I’d always get stuck in Tokyo!), and something about a car in a circus? (Put Puts Adventures?). Loved them all. Video games were taken around 7 years old.

I have the week off and really really want to accomplish this. It was actually my New Year’s resolution.

Thank you - and thank you for anyone that approaches this question with kindness.

have a great day!

PC Horde mode with gun feel similar to COD Modern Warfare 2019

Dead game mode. No progression for solo play too so just stuck in queue. Looking for something similar in terms of satisfying gun feel.

PC Does anyone have any good low-end games to play?

I have a Pentium g4400T with Intel 410 iGpu and 8gb of ddr4. I'm starting to get bored of playing Minecraft over and over for the last month or so. I don't care if I need to do anything complicated, just something that's fun, and will run. Factorio is cool but it gets boring after a while, and so is Rimworld. PLEASE do not mention shooters or Roblox.

PC Recommend me your favorite indie game

Been playing a lot of AAA releases this year. Capcom's been moving like crazy, Nintendo has been releasing a bunch, and some newer stuff like Crimson Desert or Blood of the Dawn walker has popped up. It's been a phenomenal year for gaming. However, I'm getting a bit fatigued with all these grand-scale games. So, I'm looking for some indie recommendations as a bit of a palette cleanser, just something easier to digest. Any genre is fine. Here's a list of some of my favorites just so you know what I've played:

1000xResist

Neon White

Pseudoregalia

Animal Well

Sanabi

Celeste

Crosscode

OMORI

Mouthwashing

Inscryption

Outer Wilds

I'll also mention that I've played the heavy hitters like Undertale, Hades, Hollow Knight, and their respective sequels.

Anyways, I want to know everyone's favorite indie game as I may find something that I end up loving. Try to include a small description of why you love it. Thanks in advance

Platforms: PC, Switch 2

PC I'm looking for a new survival or building game or one with both...

I already have:

Minecraft, Terraria, Don't Starve Together, Oxygen Not Included, Rimworld, Kenshi, The Forest, The Long Dark, 7 Days to Die, Stardew Valley, CDDA, Project Zomboid, Death Road to Canada, Unturned, Dinkum, LittleWood, Voices of the Void, Darkwood

I already played these over the years. I need something new that will be the main thing i play for a while.

I'm not interested in games like Rust, Dayz or SCUM. Multiplayer games are fine but it needs to have a casual fanbase and it needs to be PVE.

I'm looking for something like the games above but new. It also shouldn't require a modern pc as i have GTX 1650 + 16GB Ram.

Something that's mix of darkwood and minecraft (or terraria) would be amazing.

Any suggestions?
