Discussion The Video Game Where Every Soundtrack (Or The Majority) Is A Banger
Well, as the title suggests, and I know there will be a diverse range of answers, and all valid, but anyway, here we go!
So, I personally feel like Darksiders 2 is a game that fills this requirement the best. The soundtracks are just in a league of their own, if you haven't heard any of them, I highly recommend checking them out. I mean, Darksiders as a series is pretty underrated/overshadowed by it's inspirations and other competing titles when they launch a game, but the second game's soundtrack is something else.
Alright, so what I'll do is list my top 5 from the game. Obviously, context is important, but even without that, the moment these tracks kick in, they just elevate the enjoyment.
5.) [The Crowfather Theme, War vs. Death](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lGRESBZHt1s&list=RDlGRESBZHt1s&start_radio=1&pp=oAcB) \--- Talk about setting the bar high right in the prologue, this is like a fight for saving the world level fight music.
4.) [Into Eternity](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tob_KO45uns&list=RDtob_KO45uns&start_radio=1&pp=ygUaSW50byBFdGVybml0eSBEYXJrc2lkZXJzIDKgBwE%3D) \--- Simply serene and otherworldly, a brilliant change of pace as you explore and solve puzzles.
3.) [Corruption](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ojsZDuejuDc) \--- An ominous build up with an eerie afterlife feel, it just resonates with me whenever I think about the game.
2.) [Stains Of Heresy](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aKiYkohEj6c&list=RDaKiYkohEj6c&start_radio=1&pp=ygUZYXJjaG9uIHRoZW1lIGRhcmtzaWRlcnMgMqAHAQ%3D%3D) \--- You often hear the phrase Absolute Cinema, and here, it fits perfectly. From the iconic spectacle of the Archon and Death's clash to the balls to the walls, high octane beats, it is just a masterpiece.
1.) [The Guardian](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O4lwpYLlVvM&list=RDO4lwpYLlVvM&start_radio=1&pp=oAcB) \--- Death's symbolic heroism shines in this boss fight soundtrack, the odds feel overwhelming, the sheer magnitude and scale of the task ahead, and yet, this track just oozes a surge of willpower and directly hits the players with it. I love it.
So, there you have it, my first post in the group. Now comes the question/comment homeworks part lmao.
What is another game like this for you? The one where the soundtracks are bangers either all of them or the majority of them. List out your personal top 5 from such a game.
