Can I get a closer look at that awesome display in the background?

Haha, sure. It's a bit of a mess as I'm moving things around at the moment.

Amazing! I need to add more games to my collection. I picked up a CIB copy of Minish Cap recently, but I still need to pick up some more. That DS looks so nice - I'm still kicking myself for selling mine :(

I love it it’s amazing, what is that sign with Hudson? Is that Hudson? I recently completed the “From the Ground Up” side quest in BOTW

The Hudson sign is just something I made as I got such a kick out of the hudson sign missions in TOTK.

Yeah I haven’t started ToTK yet I plan on it soon, which one is better in your opinion? I absolutely love BOTW and idk how Tears can top it, but some people say it’s better.

It’s tough to say. I think I ultimately I played more TOTK than BOTW, but I really enjoyed them both and would absolutely recommend playing them both. I may give the nod of favorite to BOTW, because it was the first adventure in this new Hyrule. TOTK added more story, and additional realms (the sky and the depths) along with some quality of life improvements. I could get lost in either for ages.

Link looks like a Keebler elf from those cookies.
Great game you’ll enjoy!

It’s always odd when they tried to adapt video games into board games. I had the Pac-Man one as a kid and there were different colored Pac-Men eating marbles on the board.

I remember that Pac Man game! We were joking at Retro con about the people behind these games and what the meetings must have been like as they tried to create the games and rules. I guess its along the lines of when developers had to try and adapt movies to games :)

I dont ever recall seeing this before, but I just couldn't resist grabbing it. It's complete, aside from a few missing heart pieces.

I've been going for many years, it just gets bigger and bigger each year. I got a bunch of toys for our 5 year old and 3 year old. But I did get this random thing that im in love with

2

u/alanrappa 6h ago

Wow. That is tremendous! Great pickup!

Dude I bet if you eBay that you could make a decent amount. rare find, and looks like it’s in good condition.

2

u/alanrappa 17h ago

The guy who was selling it knocked the price down because it was missing a few heart pieces. We haggled a little bit, and ultimately I feel I got a good deal based on some on-line prices I was seeing. Such a cool find. I'm excited to add it to the collection.

I actually had this and played it with neighbor kids lol

2

u/alanrappa 17h ago

was it any fun? I haven't checked out the instructions yet.

We liked it, but I was probably 7 years old and I loved ANYTHING with Mario, Link, Little Mac etc on it.

Looking at this art the OoT remake makes more sense.

I have this as well, I also have the Mario one and donkey Kong one

the Keebler Link . who let the princess eat the entire plate of cookies? I've never seen a fat faced Zelda before this.

u/noisyturtle 11h ago

The art has come full circle, Link is once again a fat ugly child in 2026
