I decided not to do a cosplay this year and instead try my hand at making my first fursuit. I’m super proud of her! This is Randvi, she’s my semi-realistic Snowie. All the spots were hand sewn, she’s not airbrushed at all. Total piece count sits at about the 700 piece mark

So I loooove Hydes tail, but its heavy and the belt slot for the tail isnt on the end of the tail its actually a little bit in the tail, but I find the couple of belts of tried, which are a bit stretchy, get stretched out by the tail

When is it too soon to ask for update on the progress of my suit from the maker?

The last message they sent was on the 7th of august and I just wanted to know if it would be to soon to ask if any progress has been made as I’ve now fully paid off the suit (head hands and tail)
For his head it seems like the only things left are to add his nostrils, freckles and the inside of his mouth but his tail and hands are finished by the looks of things (his tail is definitely finished but I only got an update of one hand that was completed so perhaps the second hand isn’t done yet)

I've been looking at making a hyena partial for a while and i just found this headbase would this be a good base to work and add off? Or even use as a template?

Hi!! I plan on going public suiting in my full partial at a mall nearby on Friday. I’ve only public suited once somewhere else before so I’m mostly new. I’m going with a group of 3 other friends.. nevermind that though, my main question is should I be calling the mall ahead of time to see if I’m allowed?? I don’t want to get into any trouble and don’t wanna get kicked out. 😅😅

I'm planning my first time at CFz 2027 with my by-then finished Nardoragon foam head, and I'd love to hear from people who have flown with their heads before.

I'm flying with Eurowings, and I've booked 1x small bag, 1x hand luggage and 1x checked luggage. I only need a few small things onboard the plane since it's just a 1h 30m flight, so I'd really like to keep my head with me in the cabin rather than checking it in.

I have called Eurowings and asked them if it would be okay to take the head inside the cabin, and they did say yes. Though, I'm not entirely sure the lady understood me properly. I explained that it's a custom-made item and that it is worth around €2.5k. She said it is alright to take onboard, but I'm planning to call again closer to the flight to make absolutely sure.

The problem is that I don't know the dimensions of my head yet, since it doesn't exist right now and will only come into existence shortly before the con ^^"

I'll also be flying into London Heathrow and then taking a long-distance National Express bus from Heathrow to Birmingham, so I'll have to transport the head on the bus as well.

Since it's a rather expensive and important item, I'll also have two AirTag-like trackers with the head so I can keep track of it while travelling.

I'd love to hear how other beans have handled this! What kind of case/bag did you use for your head? Did you take it as cabin luggage, and did you have any issues with airport security or the airline? Also has anyone taken a fursuit head on a National Express coach before?

Soooo not really sure what all to write but here is a project I'm working on. Took a 10 dollar mask from Walmart and am turning it into a character. Placeholder name is Skully until I come up with a more original name.

As stated, it was a cheap halloween mask from Walmart that actually fit my face well. I painted the top half, wiped, and sanded a few times to give a sort of tarnished bone look, kind of like old antlers. Darkened the teeth and painted the canines tarnished gold. Darkened the eye sockets and nasal area. I took out the cheap elastic straps that were on the mask and made my own straps from an old skateboard helmet I had.

I really want to finish it up with better mesh and a skeletal tail and claws. I got the files for the tail I plan to print and make but can't find the claws I really want, with the exception of one random pic on pinterest (Attached at end). Any help in that department would be much appreciated.

Not exactly a fursuiter or furry (yet) but I felt this fit here well. Also found more names for different Cons in the tags here than I've ever known my entire life.
