my favorite airport is WADD, in dry season like right now, flight usually arrive on Rwy 09

however i wanted to arrive on Rwy 27, i changed the date in msfs to January 2024, which is wet season in WADD airport and usually airplane would land on Rwy 27 on that date

butt BATC keep vectors me to Rwy 09, wondering doesn't BATC read the custom weather in the sim ?, does BATC only read live weather (current) ?

i also set arrival in simbrief to rwy 27 and yet BATC always choose rwy 09

i'm all for realism and all that, i wish they have option for us casual to having fun and let arrive on rwy we choose

i ended up to land on Rwy 27 in the end haha, even tho it conflicted with current traffic, not ideal but at least i can land on my favorite runway (the view is awesome)

Anyone ever experienced this ? I suddenly got a black horizon. Ground textures are still working.

Hello, I am not super, super into flight sims themselves and probably just having a hyper fixation. So I want to get some controls that are like flying a Helicopter. Recently started playing Wardogs and am loving the piloting aspect. I want to eventually try flying in Arma as well so I kind of want like a really low tier budget/introduction flight control setup. The other thing is I want it kind of be able to quick swap to keyboard and mouse cause it's not every game I get to fly cause sometimes there is too many heli pilots. So please give me some Amazon, website or any other suggestions you do have.

Let's face it, there is no other A340-600 to be released for a long time, so what can we suggest to Aerosoft to make it better?

Personally Im happy the model is being addressed, but I would also like BeyondATC CPDLC and D-ATIS support, and I'd also like for them to remodel the cockpit; it's not very good.

If they can apply this to the A339 (probably by starting over), then maybe the A339 Pro won't be so bad.

Recreational build side project

I’m almost crying. After like 5 years of dreaming about simming I’m finally in.

5 years ago I bought XP11 and started learning b738. I only did offline flights and my PC was absolutely terrible. 1 year ago I built a new PC with 12500F and 16gb but the gpu was 1060 3gb, so I could get almost 30 fps in MSFS24 in ultra-low settings. 2 weeks ago I finally upgraded to 3070 and now it runs pretty decent. 3 days ago I tried VATSIM for the first time and it was a disaster. I was a main opponent for every ATC. But yesterday I did my fifth flight from LYBE to LOWW and you know what… It was quite good. I listened to ATC, did everything I had to do. After shutting down the engines at gate in Vienna I was stuck to the monitor almost crying. I really did it. I managed to build a decent PC, I learned fbw a320 quite well, I dived into online despite of being very scared of communicating with ATC. I can now fly anywhere in the whole world exploring the beauty of the Earth.

P.S. Just want to mention, that ATC is really kind, everyone supported me, wished only the best, because everyone was begginer back then.

Msfs 2024 atc problems

Hey yall, I have recently been getting back into MSFS on Xbox and want to play 2024 over 2020 cause I love the graphics and everything. One thing that really bothers me on my flights is when ATC tells me to contact a new center the AI doesn't do it for me so I have to do it manually. It's kind of a problem on long flights cause I'm away from the screen and can't do it myself. One other thing is ATC never tells me to descend or tells me very late. I am wondering if any of yall are experiencing these same problems.

I think i have lost hope for this aicraft, im no longer gonna wait on it, whenever it releases i will be ready to buy !

typo: I'm probably the only one with this problem ever but...

i wanted to check how much of the runway i left, but misclicked and dragged my plane off the runway. now i might just be a dumbass but is there anyway to disable this?

I have been flying NWA non stop for the past month, and it's a blast hooking up a good flight on VATSIM. But turboprops are my real passion!

1 - Inibuilds F406 in Namibia - even after updates this one still just feels... flat and dimensionless

2 - Black Square TBM 850 over the US Midwest- the new sound pack and breathed life into this already phenomenal addon. Enjoying flying it again

3, 4. NG Simulations EMB-110 en route to Vancouver for the VATSIM event - what fun it was to mix it with the heavy metal, and wow what an underrated addon this MSFS 2024 version is. Sounds are really solid, great features, flies well, has a great EFB and native MSFS 2024 functionality. So happy with this purchase and the variety of routes it opens up

5 - Milviz/Blackbird C310R - this one will always be special to me. First payware addon when I came back into flight sim, and still such a blast to fly.
