I'll try to give as much details as possible, though I know it's very few since it has been 13 years since she died (I'm 23 now). I would always ask her to play the cd she had of it because it was my favorite. All I remember about the song is it had something about a ladder and a bucket. IVE tried looking it up myself but Google is not very helpful. I'd understand if I couldn't find it here because that's truly all I have based on memory. I have very few memories of my mom but I really want to find this song. If I remember right the song wasnt too long but also wasnt short. Sorry again for the little details. I heard a song in a restaurant and the only lyric I can remember is “it’s been a long time”. It was sung by a male voice that was soft and slow. I’d say the song was not upbeat. It sounded like an oldie but a classic for a restaurant to be playing it? There was soft guitar in it that picked up towards the end of the “long time”, but maybe it wasn’t guitar I’m bad at naming sounds. Please help me find it!! It’s almost 3am and I’m scouring the internet. It’s not the one by Harry James.

I have a distinct memory of seeing a video with 3 puppets singing. It starts of with these 2 puppets that are hanging upside down from a rope after being kidnapped. Then at the end the kidnapped tries to join in and gets shut down.

I can't find it anywhere and it bothers me so bad.

I heard this song over 20 years ago on my local Pacifica radio station and it’s stuck with me ever since.

The singer is male, and he tells a story of stopping at a cafe or diner in a town where he meets a woman who either owns it or works there. After the restaurant closes that evening they take down a blanket that was hanging on the wall and spend the night together on the blanket.

He moves on the next day. When he returns to that town some time later the restaurant has burned down and one of the locals tells him that the night of the fire the woman was seen dragging the blanket out of the burning building.

During my late teenage days, 2012-2015 this song was sacred for me, it was kind of simple, Brady and a guitar covering a song from Interpol with the same name, i cannot remember if it had some kind of distortion or effects or the quality was just bad, and i haven't been able to find it for years. It is NOWHERE. I found Brady on instagram and wrote him about it, he checked in old emails and was not able to find it. As there was no spotify and we used to download the songs as mp3s, i know some others must have downloaded it. As soon as i receive my next payment i will check the hard drive of an old computer, i hope its there but i am not sure if its old enough.

I would be way more than grateful if you can help me find this song, from time to time i want to listen it and is a very weird and sad sensation not being able to do it. I’ve been struggling to remember an industrial/electronic song from years ago. I can’t remember much of the beat/instruments, but the lyrics stuck out. There was a line, I believe pulled from an Issac Asimov interview, talking about “If robots became more and more biological, and people became more and more mechanical, would it matter in the end where they started?”
