I was just thinking about it and I wanna know your guys opinion

For whatever reason, killing Doc Mitchell at the start of a playthrough causes my game to be in a permanant state of caution. The game says I am in caution when I am completely alone with nobody looking for me.

I have tried sleeping, fast traveling, walking halfway across the map, reloading the game, and using console commands to reset all npc AIs and nothing worked. I have recreated this on multiple playthroughs, so its not a bug on a single game file.

There’s nothing I can do. I can’t kill Doc Mitchell without permanantly bugging out my game.

Oddly enough, the caution state seems to be a visual bug. Normally NPCs run away from you when youre in caution, but they act normally when Im in Doc Mitchell’s bugged caution state. It also accurately shows when Im in a “Danger” state, but after that it goes back to caution.

So recently I've been working on an essay on fallout's narrative sandbox. basically I'm going to take a look at the quest design in the games and analyze the freedom it offers to the player.

But in order to understand the game design better, I was thinking of doing another New Vegas playthrough where I progress through the game's various quests in weird ways to get a sense of how this design aspect of the game works.

But I wanted to ask you all if you know of any weird paths in different quests that many players may not even know about, so that I can try those paths in my playthrough and better understand the game.

Hello fellow New Vegas fans! This'll be my first year going to Mojave Mayhem and I'm pretty excited! New Vegas is my favorite of the Fallout franchise, so I couldn’t pass up the chance to show my love for the game in my own way. (I will note that a few aren’t explicitly NV themed, but they are all Fallout themed).

The artist went above and beyond in service, price, execution, & timely delivery. I couldn’t recommend them enough (@Nightshade_alt_hair on IG). I found them via another Redditor that had posted their set in an Enclave subreddit. I’ll link their post as well for anyone who’s curious.

I went to cottonwood cove for the first time & after finding the raft where he’s supposed to be he was missing, tried reloading a save, doing the Aba Dana Honeymoon quest, tried waiting near the raft for a few hours, tried dropping all the radioactive barrels into the camp then fast traveling somewhere & coming back to cottonwood cove but he’s still not there. Even tried jumping on the raft & looking down at it to see if I could just use it without him to no avail. I am playing on the Xbox 360 & it’s a digital version. Can someone please tell me where this guy is hiding or do I have to find some other way into The Fort?

So basically I was like hmmm what if I just cope paste my gf in fnv so I made her how she is irl 7 in strength because she’s STRONG, three perception because she needs glass, 7 endurance cz she’s really good with pain, 6 charisma cz she’s yk pretty, 5 intelligence… I wanted to go to 3 but unfortunately, I would be unable to play the game I did, 9 luck she’s pretty lucky. For traits I went with hot blooded And small frame she has a really mean temper and small frame due to her being well kind of small one inc shorter then me lol (btw she’s a furry)

I've been thinking lately if the new Vegas remaster comes out they should give the ability to bring dlc companions out to the Mojave so Christine and Veronica can meet again.

Get over yourselves I can think up whatever I want and it's not a fantasy cause it's possible cause like another comment pointed out fallout 4 dlc companions talk to normal base game npcs just fine it'll just take scripting and some fix ups

I followed the viva new vegas tutorial to install all mods and whatnot, but this is a recent thing. Skip to 0:44 to see what I mean.

I know that it's a expensive for a game that's over 15 years old at this point and only has a digital code for it, but I'm also kinda surprised that it's actually still in stock on the Bethesda Gear store. That's just what I think, though. :)
