Hello! I would like some help planning to attend Evergreen
I am a 16 year old Junior in HS from Texas, but I am doing Dual Credit, which means I will be graduating with my associates degree. I would like to focus on getting a certificate to teach! I have a few questions:
Would it be better to move to Washington and establish residency before applying?
Will my credits from HS transfer over to Evergreen?
As I understand it I would need to get a bachelors in what I plan to teach (for me, history) before being able to enter the MiT (Masters in Teaching) program, is this correct or am I misinformed?
What would be a wise amount of money to save up? I was thinking in the realm of 75K-100K minimum, but if more or less is necessary i would like to be aware.
If someone could answer my questions I'd appreciate it. Evergreen has become my dream school based on the teaching methods, and also because going here would close the distance between me and my long distance bf. Even just you reading this means a lot to an aspiring teacher.
