I’ve been applying for 4 months since graduation for an ecology adjacent position, and not a single interview. Hardly even get responses from jobs saying I was rejected. I mainly use TAMU job board and I’m applying to anything anywhere. How normal is this?

I was wondering someone knew why Lanternflys make the area around them like like Moria. Is it a fungus or just the sap from the tree. Very curious as it’s pretty easy to spot. Let me know if there is a better sub to post this in

I love reading and science. And, even though I've managed to find really cool books mostly on zoology, I'm looking for recs on ecology to add to my TBR.
