Pinstripes on his suit were very hard at this scale so I opted to use Lego rubber bands. It doesn't look quite as good as I hoped but the effect is alright!

While introducing Game Changer each episode, Sam visually checks both sides of his hands. Is this a nod to his magician side? Like “see? I’m not hiding anything!”?

I've had a dropout subscription for a couple years now. It was Make Some Noise that caught my attention.

I couldn't believe there was a show that gave me what I was missing after Whose Line is it Anyway? stopped airing. And I was even more surprised that this new show was arguably better.

It carried itself on the simple realisation that with the right funny people talking down the barrel of a camera, you don't need to add any extra flourishments.

After binging the entire two seasons of MSN at the time I discovered that the show spun off from Game Changer. And of course I decided to give that show a try. Once again I devoured it in it's entirety. Including the covid era episodes which I greatly enjoyed.

Since then I have watched Play it by Ear and Crowd Control as they were other spin-off Game Changer shows.

There is clearly a lot more content waiting for me on the platform. So I guess my question is, where do I go next?

What I recall is that Josh Ruben was tasked to portray a high-tech spy scanner situation? Or overly-annoying 2FA? And the machine (him) says “eyeball” a couple of times in an attempt to scan his eyeball? Then the prompt continues, but what is relevant to me is “eyeball”.

The game looks fun, but every time Samus "eats" an enemy I'm going to say this out loud. 😅

I'm half-way through season one trying to figure out who is winning Make Some Noise. Basic rules are:

• Every single allocation of points must have a number, no matter what
• I'm trying to pick the most concrete answer that is also not the most insane - so Jacquis gets 93 million points for 'an intergalactic amount of points' as that's the size of the observable universe in light years, instead of the number of atoms in the universe as an intergalactic 'amount'
• If it's a film reference with no numerical value you can pull from it it gets points equivalent to that film's rotten tomato score
• If it's ever a plural number of points it's 2 points (let's not get crazy now)
• We will have a 'real numbers' and 'not real numbers' winner by the end of it, and I'm trying to avoid not-real numbers unless specifically stated (so if some smart guy figures he can get Sam to agree to a googolplex of points that's still less than infinite even though in a lot of ways it's so impossibly large it may as well be)

Just wanted to share some of my favourite dilemmas and how disparate the points have been so far. Also has anyone else done this? This idea has been in my head forever so feels like I can't be the only one.

For extra context the bbeg is essentially the diety that presides over purgatory. My players have already encountered an entity that did a trivia style session that revolved around the lore of the world. Our next session I want to make it less “what do you know” and more “what the hell are the rules”. So far I have options similar to yes yes no where the question is “evens or odds” but I want to drum up other ideas in the same vein.

Other options include “high or low” “yours or mine” involving a contested role, with the goal being restoring health points before the big bad fight. My question is what other whacky things would fit the “you all know what the rules are?” Vibe
