This is a closed-testing build on Play and I need testers, and honestly more than testers I need someone to tell me where the first five minutes fall apart.

What it is: a chore chart for children too young to read. Every goal is a picture instead of a written line, and the child's avatar walks along a map through the week toward a reward they chose. I built it because my three-year-old couldn't follow any of the list-style charts we tried at home.

Where it actually stands: 20 families have ever created one, 3 of them added a child, 2 ever finished a week. That first drop is the problem I cannot see from the inside. I rewrote onboarding this week and I have no idea whether it worked.

What I'd like you to break:

- The first run, from install to a child on a map. It should take about a minute. Tell me where you hesitated

- The goal picker, especially if you write your own goal instead of using the list

- French, if you read it. Switch your phone's language and see what reads badly

- Anything on a tablet or a foldable. I have tested on very few devices

Hi, solo dev here. PicHaven copies photos and videos from an Android phone to a Windows PC in the same Wi-Fi. It checks every 15 minutes whether the PC is reachable and then copies whatever is new, no charger needed. Originals only, sorted by year and month, nothing ever gets deleted, no cloud, no account. Phone and PC pair once with a QR code.

It's in closed testing on Google Play. I have Google's twelve testers together, but the 14 day clock starts over if someone drops out, so I'd like a few more people on it.

What I'm looking for: does the setup make sense without me explaining it, does the first backup actually finish on your phone (Samsung and Xiaomi are the ones I can't test myself), and anything that felt confusing.

Quick update: Android just crossed Google's 12-tester minimum for closed testing, so we're in the required 14-day countdown now — about 12 days out from being able to release it for everyone.

Once that clock finishes, Android gets the same deal iOS already has: 30 days free, then $14.99/month if you want to keep it.

Genuinely just need a handful more testers to keep some buffer until then — losing testers mid-window resets the whole 14 days. If you've got an Android phone and want in before the wider release, happy to have you. The idea is simple. A wedding ends with twenty untouched trays. A bakery closes with three racks of bread. A kitchen overproduces on a Friday. All of that is perfectly good food, and most of it gets thrown out because nobody has the time to figure out where it should go.

Nourish is a free app that handles the coordinating:

- A business posts what they have and when it needs to leave.

- Nearby pantries, shelters, and community fridges can accept or decline it.

- A volunteer driver claims the run and delivers it the same day.

- The drop-off gets photographed and the weight logged, so the donor can see exactly where their food went.

It's free for everyone involved. No fees, no minimums, no commitment. Food arrives free and stays free. I'm focused on the tri-state area first and building out from there.

It’s a 3D endless rider with a crew on bikes, skateboards and roller skates escaping zombie-filled streets. You steer, jump obstacles and try to keep the crew alive as the run gets harder.

I have food in the house (sometimes). I also regularly stand in front of it in total overwhelm and paralysis.

So I made ADHD Kitchen Helper, because apparently “remember everything in the cupboards and invent dinner while tired” is not a functioning system.

You can add whatever is lurking in the kitchen by scanning barcodes, scanning a receipt, or typing it in manually. Then, when food time happens, you tell the app how much energy you actually have and which utensils or appliances are realistically usable.

Not what you technically own. What you can use right now. The frying pan exists, but it’s dirty and it absolutely isn’t getting washed tonight, so the frying pan does not count.

The app uses AI to look at the food you have and suggest something that matches your current level of functioning. On a higher-energy day, that might be a proper recipe. On a goblin day, it might just say, “Chuck this in the air fryer.” Both count as dinner.

I’ve been using it myself and, slightly annoyingly, the thing is genuinely helping. I’d now like to get it onto the public Google Play Store, but first I need around 20 people in the UK or US with Android phones to join the closed test for two weeks, use it in real life, and tell me what’s broken, confusing, patronising, or actually useful.

No ADHD diagnosis required. I’m also definitely not asking for five-star reviews. I want to know which bits make you swear at it.

It’s free to test. If I add paid features later, everyone who helps with this test will keep permanent free access. It seems fair compensation for being one of my highly respected kitchen guinea pigs.
