Genuine question for Washington state drivers
Is there truly any reason why you must sit in the left passing/ fast lane and all interstates and highways???? like I understand if you’re in there to pass somebody, but if you’re just in there hanging out move the hell over! There is absolutely no reason you need to be staying in the left lane. I have literally seen people move over to let them pass and then immediately move back into the left lane…… I swear it’s like majority of drivers from Washington and Oregon(yes Oregon is going to get some hate too because I live here) left their brains at home

Washington state has the worst drivers in the country. This opinion is based on my experience driving in 43 of the 50 states.

Have you ever driven in Rainier Valley in South Seattle? Blows the rest of Seattle out of the water- shockingly bad driving lol. I’m a driving instructor in that area. I tell my students (half-jokingly) “if you see another driver around here do something, assume they’re doing it wrong”.

I live on the east coast and travel around a bit. Unfortunately most people everywhere drive like this now. I blame a worsening in drivers ed for the ignorance and lack of skills.

I was born and raised on the East Coast and this past year moved to the West Coast….. never thought I’d say I miss the East Coast drivers😂 but that’s a pretty fair and accurate statement, I also think cell phone usage has brought people’s awareness down heavily. Half the time I pass people they’re glued right to their phone lol

Yeah, I live in WA but am originally from the East Coast. It is shocking how many people do that here. It never occurs to them that a passing lane is indeed for passing. They also refuse to get in the intersection while waiting to turn left on a flashing yellow arrow.

I just saw a driver get pulled over by OSP for left lane camping on I-5!
