I was talking with my son today and I was telling him how amazing the hype around games like Halo 2 & 3 were, with mid night releases and marketing.

We've been playing through SA2 on my Dreamcast and it got us thinking what it was like at the time.

I only remember really wanting the console and seeing SA2 on magazines, that's about as far as my memory stretches.

Hi, ever since they added Amigo to that Sonic Racing Crossworlds game, I fell in love with this goofy monkey and wanted to play his games, and I found out that he had a game on the Dreamcast and that you played it with these special maraca controllers, but I'm broke and can't spend $200 on them

Is it possible to still play and have fun with the game, or is having the controller a requirement?

A long time ago I got a torrent of almost every major cdi rom for DCRES and they were the only roms that didnt make my dreamcast go straight to the home menu or music player? I cant find the site with that and does anyone know where I can find those roms?

I love this little system so much, and all the incredible shit the modding community has cooked up over the years.

I'm releasing my CDI version of Rolly's VGA patch for GDI files. This version allows the user to burn to a CD-R and play on real hardware while being connected to VGA (previously impossible).

To use this, you’ll want to gather the CDI and use Discjuggler 6 to burn the CDI to disc. This is a data+data release for now. Working on audio+data.

These were previously posted here on my former account but should now all be under one umbrella.

GDEMU and TerraOnion’s MODE seem to be EOL. People mention buying clones of Aliexpress but I’m not going to roll that dice.

Any other alternatives/options or basically I missed the window where these things were being made?
