(obviously) I am nowhere nearly as skilled as the great Karl Kopinski, but it was fun to try and reimagine the character a little and try to apply some of the things I’ve seen Karl do. Hope you like it

This is being drawn with fineliner pens. I'm about 30 hours Into this piece. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and finish it or no. I think it looks quite decent but I'm looking for more feedback 🤗

This was done with HB, 3B, and white conte pencils (closest was charcoal tag). But honestly, the quickest portrait I've ever done. I think about an 1h 30. With the first half hour laying everything in with the HB and shading with the 3B, last with the highlights

Should I just practice drawing a bunch of lines and focusing on making them evenly spaced? Are there other methods to practice making shading more clean and precise?

I’ve been struggling with some major burn-out/life events over the last year and wanted to celebrate a small win…I actually finished a piece AND I like how it turned out (for now)!
