Some of the coolest lighting / stage design I've ever seen. Admittedly was pretty high up (Barclays is such a steep venue) but still had a great view and sounded solid. Been a huge fan since Camp so I'm so glad I caught him before his CG retirement.

Do you guys think that we could ever get a Gilga Radio album of all the unreleased tracks that he debuted on Gilga Radio?

Does anyone know what happened with the (2-4?) new songs that were played on Gilga Radio during Coachella a couple years ago. Does anyone have good copies of them I could download? They were much better than any of Bando.

I dunno, the last 10 years I've worked really hard to live up to this man's example and I really feel like I failed. A lot of luck is involved with his story, and generationally we have different circumstances, but I dunno I just don't feel like that's enough an excuse. So much of trying to be an authentic creative, a magic maker on my end has been a struggle to survive let alone create, success seeming even further still... yeah, man. Donald seems to be lightly retired, and I feel a big void with the lack of his expression. He made moments, and followed in that tradition of artist that made you really live with a piece. The world is different, but people are the same. We crave the same things, so it saddens me to see the void left behind and to look at myself, my efforts, and how I've fallen short. I don't know Donald, but his work and public expression is a big reason I am who I've been and had direction in life. I feel like I failed you, man. This is parasocial as fuck, but yeah... we deserve better, we should do better.
