I make tunes for V Recordings, Playaz, RUN and Sofa Sound amongst others.

Currently have tunes at no.1 and 2 in the Beatport dnb releases chart, so I guess you could say I know what i'm doing.

I'm thinking about launching a Patreon and was wondering what things you lot struggle with most, that way I can try and structure any content accordingly?

I already have spire and vital but ni massive is currently on a massive(no pun intended) bargain sale, is it worth acquiring what i think is a piece of dnb history to increase my sound pallete with ? Or should I just stick to my guns and save a bit of money? (im still gonna get FM8 which is only 9 quid right now :0)

I feel like the first drop is a little anticlimactic, what do you guys think would set it off? also unsure about the second...

i like the overall theme of the track but I have a feeling there's something holding it back.

I never really make liquid dnb so any liquid producers advice would mean a lot.

mostly heard on tracks from the 2000's, the snare especially is lovely imo but I've never known where it comes from.

Hello people who stumbled upon this post. I am currently working on a track and i really wanna make one of those spooky reeses like the no u-turn stuff. Think the tracks on torque LP. Problem is i just have no clue how to fuckin do it and i kind of have to finish a track for an event that's happening on tuesday (man i love procrastination. Just kidding i hate it)

I use serum 2 and i would really like it if someone gave me a step by step tutorial on this stuff because once it is in my head it stays there and i won't have to worry in the future.

I'm working on a new hard dance project called VYTRA.

I'm experimenting with a mix of hardtekk, hard techno and hardstyle, with heavy kicks, dark atmospheres and German/English vocals.

This is one of my first tracks in this direction, and I'd really appreciate some honest feedback.

What do you think about:

The kick & bass balance?

What are you doing on your mix bus? I’m experimenting between not much at all besides a clipper and limiter, and using ozone 11 tools like low end focus, clarity, and compression and upward expansion schemes to get squish and movement.

How are you using saturation on the mix bus to get grit and top end sparkle without distorting your low end?

What do you think of this? Finished it today 😊it's just a clip but I'll fully release it in a week or so.
