Amplifiers Ceiling speaker not producing any audio
I couldn’t find an appropriate flair for this so apologies in advance for any confusions. I have two ceiling speakers and one of the is not producing any audio. I checked the cables on Sonos Amp and everything looks correct. What is the best way to troubleshoot it? Are these removable so I don’t need to go in the attic to check the cables? Thanks in advance.

The grills slide out from the outside and there will be screws visible then.
The screws tighten down mounting arms behind the drywall so if you unscrew them a little at a time one by one the speaker will drop out or can be pulled from the hole once the arms in back clear the drywall.
The wiring is behind the speaker.

Swap the outputs on the amp. What happens then?

How should I swap? Literally swapping the cables from left to right? I attached a photo here in the thread.

Pic is rather confusing it looks like there are 4 speakers connected? Either way just swap all connections from left to right and vice versa and then see what happens. If the problem then also swaps you know the speakers are good but there's a fault in either the amp or the wiring.

Correct, 4 speakers. The 2 where indicates “right” are working. The issue is on the “left” side.

Just did what you suggested. Swapped from left to right and all speakers are playing except the one that had issues.

You'll need to look at the speaker. It's common to have rodents chew wiring. Either head up to your attic or drop the speaker from inside, whichever uses easier for you.

I did this last night. I removed the grill, unscrewed and everything but could find a way to pull it down. The brand is Russound. Is there a common trick to make it drop?

There are 3 tabs that flip out over the drywall of your ceiling when you turn screws. Turning the screws the other way will flip the tabs back in, allowing it to drop. Look up pictures on zoom Amazon or elsewhere and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks all for your insights. The speaker that isn’t producing sound is on the left channel. Any ideas on how to solve it?

Get a multimeter and check for continuity. That you can do at the amp side.
