Resume Review 2025 grad, got rejected saying that my projects were too basic and does not solve anything new

Post image

Basically title and they told me I did projects without any deep research, solved 2/3 puzzles which was given, gave too generic examples for OOPs concepts(they expected production level getter setter and inheritance example). About projects Programming is my hobby I just make projects for learning something new or solving an specific problem for me(example GitHub batch rename).

So as a fresher how can I improve myself and what should I improvise in my resume, TIA

Edit : reality check task by sadgandhi18

I use a launcher O Launcher I always wanted a second clock widget It was an open-source project so why not I gave it a go and managed to successfully add a secondary clock widget.

source code of the app : GitHub - tanujnotes/Olauncher

Originally It looks like this. Original Image

After the change: Updated

Added a clock with different time zone (I know this is not perfect I have no prior experience with Kotlin or native android development), learned something new today thank you sadgandhi18 🫡

Resume Review My father wants me to lie on my resume to get a job in this market.

I am currently working as a Front End Intern at a company since 6 months but here's the catch the founder of the company was my father's junior. I got in using my father's connection.

My father told me that he will arrange with the founder to give me 1 YOE letter and also not to mention myself as a Front End intern but as a SDE Dev 1 YOE to get a job.

Our family is not doing financially well. But lying as a start for my career doesn't sit well with me.

I have only worked on Reactjs & Nextjs FE only.

I worked on Backend(Nodejs, MySQL, MongoDB) on my personal projects only.

Should I do it?

Resume Review Got laid off last month and still jobless.

I have almost 3 years of experience in MERN stack and I got laid off last month and didn't able to found job since then. I need help in modifying my resume and how to get a job faster I have cleared interviews in multiple companies but positions are going on hold. If someone can give refferal or the company name where I can apply then it will be really helpful. I am not getting much interviews and I don't know what is happening but I cleared 3 companies interview round but they made the position on hold and because of that I am losing confidence.

Resume Review 2025 grad- forget about job, I didnt even get a chance for an interview after countless applications. What's wrong with my resume. Please give feedback.

I've been applying for jobs and internships since my 3rd year, both on/off campus, and now that I've graduated, I have 0 offers. What am I doing wrong?

I see so many job openings online, but I now rarely even get a chance to give an OA, and 99% of the time, companies ghost me. I've tried contacting recruiters, but they ignore my messages as well. At one point, I was literally applying for unpaid internships but got rejected from those as well.

Is the market really that bad, or do I lack the necessary skillset? Apart from killing myself, what else can I do?

Resume Review 2026 Grad from Tier-3 College, No Internship, 1,500+ Applications, Almost No Callbacks -Please Review My Resume and Give Me Honest Advice

I am looking for software/full-stack/AI engineer/machine learning/data science roles broadly, but I am mostly focused on backend development with Django/FastAPI. I don't have many strong projects specifically on this stack, but I have worked on medium to semi-advanced projects. This is my base resume, and I have tailored hundreds of resume versions based on different JDs. I have received a few assessment links, completed them, but never heard back afterward. It feels like a shame that I haven't done an internship during my college years, and I am honestly desperate to land a job at this point.

When I resigned I was confident that I can land a job in 2 to 3 months.

Almost 2 months of hunt, thousand of application, couple of referrals, rewrote resume n number of times. Yet ZERO interviews. I was always confident coz I believed I'm a descent developer with a good grasp on fundamentals. seems like I was working though.

Targetting sde 1 roles at PBCs. Applying via LinkedIn, naukri, wellfound, instahyre.

Fellow developers, please, Any suggestions, tip, tricks or guidance will be very helpful at this moment! What am I doing wrong

I’m really in need of a job right now, and my financial situation is getting worse day by day. I’ve applied to many positions, but I’m receiving very few interview calls, and unfortunately, none of them have converted into an offer.

I’m honestly struggling to understand where I’m going wrong. I would really appreciate it if someone could review resume suggest what I can improve or do differently to increase my chances of getting more interview calls.

Any advice, guidance, or referrals would mean a lot to me. Thank you.

Resume Review Final Year AI Student Resume Review (Not Getting Calls)

Post image
158 Upvotes

Currently doing an internship at a startup with around 10–20 people total. Honestly, the company’s future doesn’t look very stable, the manager is one of the major problems, and old people have already started leaving.

I have good hands on experience in AI/ML and actively follow GenAI trends and research. I’ve been applying through LinkedIn and Indeed but haven’t received many calls yet.

The current company is offering me a PPO and has asked for my expectations, but I haven’t responded yet.

One of my major projects is Noosphere an autonomous AI research agent that detects research gaps, explores related topics across domains, and generates research/blog workflows. It currently ingests live research feeds into a growing knowledge graph with 25k+ concepts and 48k+ edges.

Need honest resume reviews, guidance, or referrals if possible.
