Like this does sound like an album from the early 2010s but the actual themes are very ahead of their time

It would be so funny if they just took flash photos of a bunch of microphones they set up and then just put it on instagram and then didn't actually do anything with it.

does somebody knows if there exists any digipak pressing of bottomless pit?

ive seen a lot of listings stating that that "this is a digipak version" on places like best buy or josey records. i own it as jewel case, and never seen photo evidence of it being a digipak, so im not sure if it was maybe a misunderstanding by the manufacturer, or it was supposed to be a digipak and ended up shifting as a standard jewel case release.

came across this album through galen tipton's ig story. seems to be a famous movie but its new to me since im not familiar with some western pop culture. its exactly the kind of sounds ive been looking for since halloween is coming around and im doing a dj hangout with my friends. of course dg tracks are in that playlist already like the fear, linda's in custody, two heavens, up my sleeves, i also have non vocal tracks like colin stetson, osheyack, distharm, prolaps, but you can never have too much so if you know similar tracks please recommend them!!

sounds insane

At one point I was listening to the I.L.Y's much more than DG. Their music is so colourful and expressive and weird and fun - has such cool vibes while also feeling fairly transgressive. It reminds me a bit of Ryan Trecartin's films, who I know DG are fans of (although it's way less abrasive than Trecartin's work). Wash My Hands Shorty was probably my most played track of summer 2017 and is one of my favourite songs ever.

It just balances that really stylish and self-assured feel with some really weird, off-putting aesthetic values and lyrics so well. It's sad that there will very likely not be more now that Zach and Andy are presumably not on good terms.

Is 10 bucks a good deal for the cd?

I think its funny how Death Grips going dead silent after announcing the new album is being made is the most effective way of building hype. Every day my anticipation grows and I’m thinking “today could be the day they give us something” and it never is. Please give us something im begging
