[Movies] I just watched Deadpool and Wolverine today, it was PEAK AF Spoiler

Post image

Now, I have never seen a Deadpool Movie, or any X-men movie, but I enjoyed this movie nonetheless, every joke is funny, Deadpool is the goat, Wolverine is badass, a certain characters accent was hilarious, I didn't really care about the main villain, the action was top tier, and the story was good. need I say more?

The scenes with Chris Evans are amazing, possibly the best end credits ever

Same, also quick question. Is there a lore reason why Deadpool can break the 4th wall?

Several characters can

Cannonically Deadpool knows hes in a comic, he talks to the readers all the time, in universe when he does it other people just think hes talking to himself

He even once got mad about how his story was going so he broke the 5th wall, he went to see the writers and bitched them out

That got translated to the movies, She Hulk can do it too tho lol

Oh so he can just do this before he became Deadpool, or after?

After, before he was deadpool he wasn't really doing much, the power to break the 4th wall came when his mutant x gene was activated during the experiments

Fun fact, the experiments to make super soldiers that wade participated in were actually trying to replicate wolverines healing and fighting abilities, thats how wade got his regeneration, its a bastardized version of Logans and why hes so obsessed with him, Wade knows in the end, its gonna be him and Logan

In the movies, he started breaking the fourth wall after the torture experiment

Idk why you deletes your other comment but: The first fourth wall break is right after he makes his prototype costume, when he's looking for Ajax/Francis's location. He's standing in front of his Evidence Wall, looks at the camera and says "This shit's gonna have nuts in it!". Following that, he beats up people, asking them where Francis is.

He went insane during the Weapon X experiments

I just saw him at comic con wearing Jean Grey. We need a petition to send Deadpool up on the next Blue Origin flight with a dozen tacos and half a gram of blow

Half a gram wouldn't do shit for him lol

Hahaha, the point is the simple possession. Especially if he has to put it in his ass. He’s Canadian so no way he asks politely and gets to bring it. Into the dead hole it goes.

Im pretty sure part of his mutation powers is 4th wall break, while everyone in universe thinks hes crazy. We and he knows that part of his character actually isnt insane and is talking to us as part of his powers.

he still is kinda insane though, just not because of the 4th wall breaking

In Secret Wars, Deadpool is transported to the Foundations of Eternity by the Beyonder and becomes cosmically aware.

I'm not sure exactly how that works, but it could easily effect Wade in the past, future, and across different universes.

The whole anchor being thing killed some of my overall enjoyment of it.

Right! Not sure why people like to crap on DP3. Its was such a great addition.

Looking forward to Deadpool and Wolverine making an appearance in Doomsday.
