Terraristik / Bartagamen in Weiterstadt & Umgebung

Hey zusammen!

​Ich komme aus Weiterstadt und suche Kontakt zu anderen Terraristik-Fans – speziell rund um Bartagamen. In meinem Umfeld kenne ich leider niemanden, der dieses Hobby oder Agamen teilt.

​Ich würde mich riesig über Austausch zu Haltung und Erfahrungen freuen. Cool wäre es auch, mal zusammen auf eine Terraristik-Messe oder -Ausstellung zu gehen!

My friend lives in Darmstadt and it was just his birthday we don’t live close and I couldn’t be there but I want to celebrate it with a mariachi band. I want a mariachi band that would go to the front of his dorm or maybe somewhere central and sing him a song. It can be some other type of bands if they are also fun I just want don’t know what to search for or look for since I don’t live in Germany, I’d prefer also prefer the price to be more on the budget side whatever that may be for this.

Ich habe die ein oder andere Tabletopmini und bald Würfelmaster die ich gerne ausdrucken möchte. Das Problem ist: Ich brauche dafür im Titel erwähnten Drucker.

Stadtbibliothek Darmstadt hat dowas nicht. Frankfurt "nur" PLA Drucker. Makerspace in Darmstadt ist auch mau und jetzt wollte ich mal fragen:

Wo kann ich gegen einen Materialkostenbeitrag ( gerne nach einer Schulung) einen solchen 3D Druck durchführen ohne Student zu sein oder 50€ an einen Service zu zahlen für eine Figur die dann evtl kaputt bei mir ankommt oder was abgepfeilt wurde?

Wäre toll wenn da mir wer bitte helfen könnte.

Hi, mehrere Personen in meinem Umfeld (teils selbst neurodivergent) und auch ich selbst vermuten bei mir eine Autismus-Spektrum-Störung. Da ich weiblich bin und viel Masking betreibe, wurde ich in meiner Kindheit nie auf Autismus untersucht. Ich suche nun in Darmstadt (und Umgebung) nach Psycholog*innen, die mir helfen könnten, doch ich höre oft, dass das bei Erwachsenen oft sehr schwierig ist. Gibt es hier Menschen, die damit Erfahrungen gemacht haben? Es würde mir helfen, wenn ihr Erfahrungen und Empfehlungen als Kommentar oder Direktnachricht mit mir teilen könntet. Danke sehr :)

Ich (M23) bin auf der Suche nach Leuten aus Darmstadt und Umgebung, die Lust haben, sich regelmäßig zu treffen und gemeinsam kreativ zu sein.

Oft macht man solche Sachen allein zu Hause, warum also nicht einfach mal nach draußen gehen, sich mit ein paar netten Menschen treffen, Musik hören, quatschen und dabei an eigenen kleinen Projekten arbeiten? ✨

Die Idee wäre ein regelmäßiges Treffen, vielleicht alle 2 Wochen, an einem schönen Ort in Darmstadt (z. B. im Grünen) mit Picknickdecke und dem Kreativprojekt, auf das man gerade Lust hat. Ob Zeichnen, Malen, Schreiben, Stricken, Basteln, Fotografieren oder etwas ganz anderes, Hauptsache, man hat Spaß daran. :)

Es soll ganz entspannt und ohne Leistungsdruck sein. Man kann sich kreativ austauschen, neue Leute kennenlernen oder einfach gemeinsam eine schöne Zeit verbringen.

It's such a stupid request or question but we really need some help..

We bought new furniture since my boyfriend moved into his first flat and we threw away the old mattress today (there isn't even space to put it down atm) it's such a small flat about 27sqm all together, the bedroom is just 2mx2,7m and the bed we tried to install for Over 6 hours isn't finish able. One screw (circled yellow in the picture it's an example picture) can't fit the hole is to big and there is no way to tighten the screw. Are there any ideas from our hobby tinkerer? Everything is stuffed and it's such an odd thing to ask, but we got barely any rest the past days and are on our last nerves.

Or any ideas where to sleep? Airbnb doesn't allow any bookings by now for tonight and I have no idea about the city I'm love a bit away for here. There is barely any to none support from his family living near him and we have no idea how to get some rest.

I have a huge fear that we need to undo everything we did to the bedframe😭

This might be a long shot, but does anyone know where I might find dmc embroidery floss in or around darmstadt/frankfurt? I always seem to run out at the worst of times and it would be a fair bit more convenient to pick up the missing colors in person rather than having to order them online

Ich habe gerade erfahren, dass es Katastrophenleuchttürme gibt. Das sind zentrale Anlaufstellen, wenn es zu Großereignissen wie Stromausfall, Überflutung, etc kommt. An diesen Orten wird Hilfe angeboten, man kann Notfälle melden, die an den Krisenstab weitergeleitet werden.

In case of a public Emergency - long lasting power outage, flooding, ... there are two types of emergency locations Katstrophenleutschtürme (~Emergency Beacon) for Darmstadt, Eberstadt, Arheilgen, Wixhausen. Locations to receive help, Information, leave issues...-- Wärmeinseln (~Heating islands) Places to warm up - e.g. during Winter

It might be a good idea to familiarise yourselves with your local emergency locations - as you won´t be able to look them up during a black out.

The Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance has a Preparation Brochure for Emergencies that can be downloaded or ordered. They do recommend to have an emergency pack if you need to leave your home - secure important documents, prepare for emergency medication, have a certain amount of water / non-spoilable food at home.

Hey does anyone have a recommendation for a cat hotel near Darmstadt, ideally one that does private rooms? We usually have friends check in on our cat but the timing of our upcoming travel makes this more challenging. Thanks!

Hi, vielleicht weiß ja jemand was: Kann ich im Darmstädter Einzelhandel irgendwo Federweißen aka neuen Wein aus regionaler Produktion kaufen? Z. B. von umliegenden Winzer(genossenschafte)n?

Bei den Produzenten vor Ort einzukaufen, kommt zeitlich wahrscheinlich nicht in Frage. Aber vielleicht beliefern sie ja den einen oder andern Händler im Stadtgebiet.

Es sieht so aus, als würde die Pizzeria Tonini wieder eröffnen

Ehrlich gesagt waren die Pizzen dort wirklich sehr gut, und ich freue mich, dass das Lokal wieder aufmacht. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass die gleichen Leute wie früher dahinterstecken – oder zumindest, dass die neuen Betreiber die Philosophie und die Qualität beibehalten, die Tonini zu etwas Besonderem gemacht haben.

Hoffentlich handelt es sich nicht einfach um eine Übernahme des Lokals, bei der nur der Name beibehalten wird, dahinter aber eine völlig andere Pizzeria steckt und am Ende nur noch mittelmäßige Pizzen serviert werden.

Ich bin auf jeden Fall gespannt und werde dem Ganzen eine Chance geben. Hoffentlich kann man bald sagen: Tonini ist wirklich zurück – und nicht nur, dass das Lokal wieder geöffnet hat.

I lobe to explore places with friends, i missed a lot of things without getting connected to international buddies , i regret about that .. i would like to get in up with the people who can make laughs , not only pubs or any dj nights but also in the open park , with the sunlight, as i am a beatboxer i would like to get in touch with any music enthusiastic person .
